Reflecting on the past week while munching on Cadbury Old Gold Dark Chocolate is definitely a peculiar experience. The sweet taste of Cadbury threatens to turn my thoughts into positives but the tinge of bitterness in the dark chocolate itself jolts me back to reality, that nothing is really fine and dandy.
Been a little busy this week, jetting about home and town for a record 4 times in a week. I really reckon Orchard Road needs something new...or is it just me?
Had a big argument with Mom on Saturday. I guess it was just many weeks worth of frustration finally busting it's fury ass. Luckily, the fallout didn't continue for the rest of the day.
Maybe cause I was isnt at home after the argument gave us both the oppurtunity to cool down. Popped by the Apple Center at Wheelock to get a casing for the nano. Oh, the casing costs $45. A little pricey but then again, one has to pay for quality and also because, its a product that rides on the Apple brand.
Soccer was next after that quick shopping trip. Had a pretty good 1st game after which I ran out of steam(which is to be expected since Im obese!) and just played passes all over the place. Not too bad also lah. And my dear old Total 90 died on me. The front part of the right sole undid itself. Urgh.
Looks like I have to wear those 'classic' white school shoes for street soccer now since I have got no spare cash for a new pair of soccer shoes. It doesn't quite fit the budget for this month after the casing purchase.
If only my doc from NUH didn't chao geng on my behalf, I would think I will be getting at least $250 more from the damned government...woops.
p/s:dear santa, my shoe size is usa size 11...
