Many worlds only appeals up to a point - I like Copenhagen! I mean I see the point of many possible 'worlds'...prior to measurement, however you define measurement. Many worlds doesn't scale much past planck lengths imo. Such a subtle effect for Newtonian space so battered and torn.Uncertainty thy name is Everett. Then a 'pilot wave'? Nature doesn't use two when one will do. The way entanglement and/or the Higgs is being defined now could cover any pilot-wave so Ockhams takes care of it. Now wave-function is 'real' - as close to contemporaneously is the Higgs - then maybe they're related. Stranger things have happened. Typical of so many things the closer you get, the tougher the nut is to crack and the slipperier it gets. Obviously worth persisting with due to stunning potential benefits - like our ticket off this fucking cop-and-commissar ridden planet. |
