Biding my Time
I've spent 2 days at work awaiting a big blowout from someone whose duties I have taken over...and it hasn't come. I know this person has a history of hissy fits, and I wish he would hurry up and pitch his so I can quit looking over my shoulder.
Other work news...I am reorganizing the video classification. There were originally about 20 different categories, each with a different colored dot system. Last year the previous librarian reassigned dots, but didn't bother to change the old ones. Since all the videos are being recataloged before they are put out, I have to devise a new system that incorporates all the old categories but in fewer categories. OK, that made no sense to anyone else but me. But I am nearly done, and will talk it over with my staff tomorrow.
I've finished the first draft of the January schedule already, and even started a preliminary February schedule.
But who am I kidding...I spent far too much time at work today on Solo-Ops and Eb@y. I'm a naughty girl.
Now, if those of you who are not library-friendly and have no interest in my work have made it this far...thanks. ;-)
Unfortunately, I don't have a whole heck of a lot to talk about right now.
Wivescare packages go out tomorrow. I am debating whether to get up early and work out, then send packages before going in to work at noon, or just sleeping and swining by the post office right before work. Sleep is sounding pretty good now. Not sure why I'm so tired...it's probably the stress of the last few months finally catching up.
I'm off to play with the kitties until Law and Order SVU comes on.
