Skating... in a winterwonder land.
I was gonna update last night, but I fell asleep. >>;
Annehwho! I went ice-skating! O_O
OMG! XD It's harder than I thought!
Okay... I forgot that ice was slippery (ouch), I forgot that ice was cold (brr!), and I forgot that other people existed!
It's divided into sections... the time, I mean. 13 dollars an hour including the skates 'n blah blah blah. It's 10 dollars from 10 am to 5 pm, I think, because there's no music or those funky disco lights. But, we wanted the music and the funky disco lights! So we decided to go at the 7 one, but we got there a taad bit late (yeah, that means you, Emy), so we decided to wait for the next one.
oo I got giddy... while putting on my skates. They're kinda heavy! OO But so cool! Annehwho! Um... then I was getting scared... <<; While we were in the line to get in... this chick put one foot in the rink and she slipped...
uu; Yeah, so I got pretty scared.
My cousin, Peter, was with us, so I told him he would be courting me throughout my first few slides. << I started laughing uncontrollably when I stepped onto the ice. I dunno why, but it just felt so cool! O_O (maybe it was the ice, but whatever) Annehwho! You could see me desperately clinging onto the side thingehs until I took Peter's hand.
oo Then I felt like I could skate faster holding onto someone. =3 SO! THERE I WAS! SKATING FASTER 'N FASTER 'N GUFFAWING! "PETER, LET'S GO FASTER!" "I don't think--" BOOMCRASHKABOOM!
TT I fell.
Peter almost fell along with me but he wrenched away from my grip at the last second... He left me there and started laughing... 'n skating away.
So there I was, butt 'n right thigh soaking. I tried pushing myself up, but the ice, man! O_O I FORGOT HOW COLD IT WAS! TT It hurt! Then one of the people that help people... who fall came... and helped me up. I told him I was fine, but uber cold 'n he laughed. So, then, good as new, I went on! =3
Lizbeth 'n my cousin, Cristel, were both clinging to the sides. Emy, since he used to ice-skate alot, had Jenny by the hand and was going... way too fast, while Jenny just guffawed. I was watching them, skating at my own pace... then all of a sudden Emy takes my hand and I was hauled away! TT OMG, from that instant I hated him.
I felt he was going to let me go every time we took a sharp curve. I was the one who had to endure the sharpness of it! I was screeching and deathly afraid.
But, alas, I pushed him away and slammed into one the the side window thingehs. TT I was alive.
So, fast-forwarding, I was calmly skating again. After feeling I was gonna fall again, I went over to the side window thingeh 'n rested for a bit. O_O Then this dude crashed into me from behind! Luckily I didn't fall, but when I turned around this man was on his back, his woman (or someone XD) trying to help him. I kept saying how sorry I was (he kept saying it wasn't my fault), and so I went on.
Periodically, this rapidly blinking light would turn on and I hated it! xX Made me uber dizzy.
My nose kept dripping from the coldness and my hands were uber red and... um, cold. o__o Seriously, next time we hafta take mittens 'cause the hands are the most that get cold.
Annehwho! So, again, I was skating calmly! I mean, I wasn't going too fast or too slow like I usually did. I was happy that I was getting the hang of it. =3 Know how when you slid to a stop (or crash) at the side thingehs? There were many ice shaving things all around the edges. Sometime you find small depressions.
CRASHBOOMKABOOM!
O_O Strike two for Stephy! There was a STUPID hole thingeh in my way! TT The front of the blade thingeh of my skates had these spikey things. I guess it got caught in the hole and I was about to fall onto my face. I did some quick thinking though! O__O I forced myself backward and fell on my bum instead!
So, annehwho, thas about it.
I'm thinking of going again this weekend with a few friends from school.
uu Gah, I start school tomorrow. But! =3 No class Monday so it's gonna be a long weekend!
Oh, and, Mishi. oo I thought about you a lot throughout the whole skating thing. I remember how you told me you would teach me how to ice-skate when I went over there to visit you. xx Made me miss you extra much.

hehe skatings fun..i'v been skating since i was six
I hate it when they flood with to much water, and if you fall in
it not only do you stand there in a dress really wet but
you sometime make waves :P
