    subject line?
Has anyone heard of this animated movie called Metropolis? There's an old silent film from the 1930's I believe with the same title but it's not the same thing. That film is like gold to Nine Inch Nails wannabe bands who make music videos.

Anyways, Mike introduced me to it (the animated movie) and we spent the next two hours on the couch entranced by it. I was skeptical at first because he said it was an anime movie and usually those do nothing but aggrivate me, but I was pleasantly surprised. I really loved the flow of the animation, it was beautifully done. There was a bit of cheesiness in it, but I expected that. It was basically about a robot who didn't know she was a robot, so of course it was going to be somewhat stupid. But all in all I enjoyed it. Mike has such good taste in everything.

I was going to try and get to sleep early tonight but I don't think it's going to happen. I didn't get to sleep last night (I should say early this morning) until 6:30 am. The hour before I went to sleep all I could do was write. It wasn't even writing with a purpose. It wasn't even good writing.. it was shitty and pumped full of teenage angst. I felt like I was sixteen again, it was so retarded. I ended it after a while of it going nowhere, then turned on some music and went to sleep. I woke up at around eleven something this morning. Not much sleep but it's what I'm used to.

Tomorrow the guys and I made plans to all go out somewhere and have fun. I have no doubt this decision was made with help from my emotional breakdown a few nights ago. Whoever was outside my bedroom door had their mind whirring that night about how to bring it up without really bringing it up.

::laughs:: I gotta give them credit though.
