    Period 1

    O
n July 14, 1989, I was born. And a little history for those, it was the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution.
By the time I was six I had a
younger brother, Robbie, and a younger sister, Dana. And I had started playing the guitar and was attending a music school.
The music school I attended held yearly competitions in Miami. For the first competition I went to, I got first place, and for two years I received first place again.
When I was eleven, the music school decided I was too “advanced” for the programs and classes they offered, and I was kicked out. I resumed taking classes at home with another teacher who studied at a renowned music school in Massachusetts.
Now I’m eleven years old, and in the sixth grade. For my middle school education, I attended Silver Lakes Middle School in North Lauderdale.
In October of that year my cousin Noah was born to my cousins Janel and San. He was a weird little kid, but then again, I can’t talk seeing as I’m not exactly the definition for “normal.”
The first year of middle school wasn’t all that exciting, it was more boring if anything. By 7th grade I had a great group of friends, and really nice teachers.
So in February of 2002, my cousin Janel had yet another baby. This time, a girl, whom she named Phoenix. This was the first girl of their family.
By Eighth Grade I had A’s and B’s on all my report cards, and still had some of my old friends from way back in sixth grade. Now I’m thirteen, and unlike most thirteen-year-olds that go through an identity crisis, I was just the same as I had been since I could remember; smart mouthed and eccentric.

      
Eighth grade year was by far the best of my three years at SLM. I met some crazy people whom I had some of the best times with.
Here I am now, fourteen and in the ninth grade at Coconut Creek High School. With the same friends as I had back in sixth grade, some even from fourth.
I still have three more years left at Coconut Creek before that wonderful day when I leave and never look back.
More than likely I’ll have the same friends, same grades, and, hopefully, I’ll have left smarter than when I came into Coconut Creek.

    yeh...[cough]
