name: Jillian birthdate: (month/day) june 21 11 good bands: weezer the postal service the thrills the shins pink floyd jethro tull the yeah yeah yeah's the cure led zeppelin modest mouse violent femmes 4 sucky bands: good charlotte new found glory all american rejects hoobstank 3 good books: catcher in the rye the giver a wrinkle in time 10 good movies: what's eating gilbert grape donnie darko spice world bowling for columbine reservoir dogs death becomes her dog show pulp fiction dogma lost in translation hobbies/activities: photography, doodling, listening to music, making music, mario kart (yes, that's a hobby), reading, writing, buying underwear likes: poetry, monet, photography, small concert venues, camera whoring dislikes: tomatoes, weezer's newer stuff, when people talk about this 'great new band, modest mouse' when they've been around since 1993 your views on... presidential canidates of 2004: i'll probably go for kerry, because he's not bush. i don't really think bush is entirely to blame, but he let's himself be controlled by the people around him who put him in office. i admit, i was a deaniac and i think he really helped the election this year by truly having an opinion on everything and not just the few things that the media would care enough to ask about. i also think that kerry's running mate, edwards, would be a good guy to have as a vice president. i don't necessarily have a huge problem with bush, but i think he's had his chance to try to fix this whole war problem that he helped to create and since he doesn't seem to be able to fix it, someone else needs to step in and do it for him. abortion: i'm pro choice because you never know if you'll someday decide you want one and then they're illegal. i have some problems with people who get one in the seventh, eigth or ninth month of pregnancy just because they finally decide that they want one but i think it's okay if they find out in those months that the birth would be life threatening to the mother. self-injury: on one hand, i feel that it's not really anybody's business if someone cuts or hurts themself, but at the same time, i really think that the people who do hurt themselves have a very perverse way of trying to fix their problems and that they should get some sort of help before they do serious damage. gay marriage: is exactly the same as 'normal' marriage. drugs/alcohol: i don't really have a problem with them except for when people do stupid things while they're on drugs, like driving, that affect people who have chosen to not use drugs or alcohol. i think it's okay as long as you're not so far gone that you lose your reasoning. education: it's a really valuable thing to have that can help everyone later in life. people our age are going to be running the world soon and being educated about things like the economy and history can help us to prevent making the same mistakes we've made in the past and provide us with the knowledge and foresight to avoid mistakes that we haven't made yet. religion: i can't remember the exact quote, but in the movie dogma, chris rock's character says that it's better to have an idea than a belief because ideas can be changed, but people go to war over beliefs. why did you join this community? i saw it promoted in another community that i was checking out and i've never been in a community before and this one looked fun. promote this community in at least two places: i don't know how... i've never been in a community before. 3 pictures:
