I'm working on my new blog layout. Yup. The fourth one. I'm planning on having a different version for my Blogger, Blurty and Livejournal. Theme of the quarter? Its blue. Royal, cool, and seductive blue.

Rumor mill:
Zsa Zsa Zaturnah related. It seems that with all the hoopla about the casting, it seems that there is a silver lining. Rustom Padilla is now back in the running as Ada. I'm not 100% sure with him, but the thing is, he could make the movie interesting and a definite box office hit. Why? Because people would flock to see his coming out role.

I think he can pull it off. And no, I don't have any shred of hate for him with that whole "using Big Brother as a launching pad" thing. Its a double edged sword, if he doesn't come out, people will hound him with rumors until his gray fairy days. But when he braves the odd, people will call him pretentious, hypocritical, and whatever mud they could throw to him. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. I feel for him on this.

Eventhough the new director is relatively a step down from the original one, it doesn't hurt to hope that it pans out for the best right?

However I would always say this time and time again. Walang panama yang si Kris Aquino, si Ruffa Mae, si Zsa Zsa Padilla, heck to some extent even Eula Valdez, sa manok ko:

I dunno, Melanie Marquez definitely looks the part but she can't act to save her life hehehe. Kung hindi marunong (or one dimensional) umarte si Rufa Mae, mas lalo na si Melanie. At least Rufa Mae can be funny (she was in Booba, I believe she should have been nominated for that, and that film with Bong Revilla na wala akong ginawa kundi tumawa ng tumawa all throughout the movie. Super B and Masakit sa Dibdib were not as funny because her act is getting old, but she played supporting characters very well in Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw, Radyo and La Visa Loca). Melanie is super trying hard to be funny, exag sa pagka-OA, and I find it highly irritating. She was in Booba. I swear I'd switch channels whenever I get to watch Showbiz Stripped kapag segment na niya. So far, I'm happy with Zsa Zsa Padilla. She's can convincingly play both dramatic and comedic characters and is also subtely bakla in real life. As for Rustom, hindi ko talaga sya feel. Ayoko sa mga baklang nagtatago sa eskaparante na gawa sa salamin, nakatago sa loob ng kloseta pero dahil gawa sa salamin, kita pa rin. At ayokong all of a sudden e nagpakapreachy siya sa kung ano ang pagiging bading pagkatapos niyang mag-come out as if overnight e nagkaron agad siya ng authority on the matter. I didn't care that he came out. I just didn't like that he had to make a big deal out of it. (Reply to this) (Thread)
