    Current Site Impairment Issues
Blurty is going through a special time in her life, where useful properly
functioning bits of data are coming from inside her server, outside, through
an opening between her heatsinks. You may notice some changes in the way
Blurty appears and behaves during this time. For instance, you may notice
    that Blurty:

    - Has difficulty allowing you to log on.

    - Will not upload or display some user pictures.

    - May not allow you to validate or re-validate, or send other automated
    email messages.

    - May display odd looking error messages, such as:

[Error: Can't call method "do" on an undefined value at
    /home/literot/blurty/cgi-bin/ljlib.pl line 5793. ]

    Database temporarily unavailable during maintenance.

[Error: Blue, White. Blue, White at /home/mong01/oid/cgi-bin/ljpad.pl line
    7068. ]

    [Error: Can't locate LWP/Simple.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
    /home/literot/blurty/cgi-bin /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i386-linux
    /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux
    /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux
    /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl
    /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.6.1
    /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl . /usr/local/apache/ /usr/local/apache/lib/perl)
at (eval 124) line 1. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at (eval 124) line
    1. ]

    - In general seems to be really annoyed at the world right now.

Unfortunately, while the hard-working Blurty engineers are attempting to get
everything back to normal as soon as possible, and shave any excess hair
from the exhaust fans, it may take some time for these problems to resolve.
Once everything is working again, another post will appear on this very page
(we swear!) to let you know.

Until that time, please do not open any Support tickets regarding technical
issues, as it is almost certain that they are being caused by Blurty's
"changes". Currently, Support volunteers are being swamped with questions
about the current issues, and they have no more information than what is
contained in this post. This is the place to look for any further updated
information, so please do leave the board for other issues. Note that
posting a Support request asking "So what's REALLY going on?", "WHEN WILL
DIS BE BACK UP?!?!!!!111one", etc, may cause liver spots, penis shrinkage,
    narcolepsy, or Rosie O'Donell Syndrome.

Thank you for your patience while Blurty is on her rags.

Just make sure that you tell Blurty to use the garbage can and NOT to flush her "protection products" down the toilet.

Next thing we know, Blurty will be bringing prospective dates home and begging for her curfew to be extended to midnight. If that doesn't put gray hairs on the admins' heads, nothing will.

When's the last time the poor girl got laid? Any volunteers?

Fine.

/Raises hand

She's probably due for a good port sniffing. If it's okay with the admins, I'd like to see about some backdoor action as well. I'll use a Trojan, don't worry. As far as a curfew, I can handle that, too. =D

Well, good luck with the maintenance.
