    SHIFT_the future
Remember our final presentation for the CS life (ok excl FYP)?

Memory - and this was on the slogans.

Anyway, the topic for today would be... What are we doing to shift our own future?

Some people have a more distinct vision for the future, while the rest sort of fumble along.

Direct route, detoured route, maybe reaching a few pit stops (however you spell that in AR), thorny route, rosy route, you still get there. As I move into the 3rd month of my career, I'm really sort of glad to see some of my friends moving on with their career switches. It just goes to show that what you're doing now need not be what you're doing for the rest of your life, as long as you pick your butt up and MOVE.

I met with 3 non-colleague friends today. One at lunch break, the other at 6.30pm, and the last at 10pm after I knocked off. They all still seem to be enjoying their work, tho the first seemed visibly tired.

Me? I still look decent. Round, cute and fair (albeit the sun-burnt shoulders which no one sees) and save for a few scars on my left leg, i'm pretty clear.

However I'm getting lazy about shaping my future. Sluggish and lethargy really get in the way.

Sometimes I guess we really need to take a nice long break - just be by ourselves. And think of where to shift that gear to.

    In other news:
    1) We can shift to LJ anytime. Say... next Monday? Since it's supposed to be a public holiday. Ought to have more time to pack things and shift? LOL. Ok that's lame. Next.

    2) I think my 30th birthday da shou is a little too late to hold. By the end of the year, I would have attended 4 weddings from now till then. Of which 3 I have to give my own ang pow. Venues? Pan Pac and whatnots. I should start planning for a 25th da shou to recoup the $. *ponders*

    3) Financial advisors are scary people. Everytime I bring some policy here and there, they'll have counter points for the other's policy. I should just organise a debate session and let them fight their own case. It's sucking up too much of my time. Eeeeks.

    4) We're confirmed having a bloggies dinner on Friday! YAY! How about Marche? Too boring? Err.... ???

    5) Are we gonna have a Christmas party? Let's fix a day!
