with their big fake smiles and stupid lies..
hmmm so again-about a week since i updated. ive just been so busy with dance and field hockey. and so tired. i dunno..ive felt kinda down lately..just like all of a sudden everythings catching up with me and it makes me tired and idk...just...i get frustrated easily and upset...idk. but i like never tell anyone because it usually wears off. im....ughhhh i dunno. i go to fh and give like 100% and we just keep losing!! its so annoying...because we do the same things wrong...hits up the middle in particular. im a wing, so im always supposed to be flat for the center back and i AM its just (and i understand this part) they wanna hit it up really fast so no one looks. thats like everyones problem...not looking where youre hitting it--right back to the defense. and then mel makes us run a lot at practice and she can be strict and tough but shes a GOOD coach and i feel bad we keep losing. and shes so nice so its like .. by the end of practice mostly youre not mad about all the running because shell be like ok take ten laps back and forth and were like...ok...and shes like im just kidding. well we did that at practice today(12 actually) and she was going to make us do it again because we scrimmaged w/JV and lost 3-0 but then shes like no im kidding. so.....idk. but i love fh and all the girls because we have so much fun =). oh..and im a mouse in the nutcracker which i was not thrilled about at all because i know i auditioned better than that (not to sound cocky, but i KNOW i did. even on pointe i did pretty well). but whatever, i took the part, because i want to be in the spring one and theyll look back on this. idk...there were quite a few little surprising things that came out of the audition. but sarahs a flower and a flute...im so proud of her. im proud of everyone, even though i think everyone deserved more than what they got. ok so the upside of things. i know i didnt write about what bullshit the lady gave me at toe tap n tights about buying new pointe shoes. cliff notes version (ive always wanted to say that): i know exactly what shoe, size, and toe pad i wear. they work well on my feet...this isnt gonna be a cliff notes version, sorry. so i told the lady what i wanted, she brought it out and i put it on. she gets up and brings out a different size "put that on now." so im like ok...and then she goes take it off. i dont like that toe pad on your foot. and throws ouch pouches at me. and im like no, i dont like these. and shes like well have you used them before? so i say yeah with my first pointe shoes. "which were...?" capezio contempora..and she made a face like "why those??"..they were not good for my feet...and i was calm about it like yeah i know...but on the inside i was like because YOU told me that they fir and looked good on my feet! my mom picked up on the whole thing too...she stayed out of it because she knows that i know what i like and its my feet. so the lady said well, you like the gel ones because they make it more comfortable right? ..no because they smell better..like why the hell would you like them better. so i say yeahh...with that "obviouslyyyyyy" tone to my voice. and shes like well that is not the point of a toe pad. ok so what is? anyway..i got my shoes and toe pads only with the promise id show gina before sewing them because they "dont fit me right--theres a gap" yeah that not even an ant could get through. so i did not show gina. and last night heres what she said "new shoes liz?...(later)...those look good on your feet...(doing a balance or something)..wow those are great on your feet...look at the arches in those everyone(so everyone looks at my feet and im like..ook) have you broken them in? (no) those are amazing. when a shoe fits you right, its awesome." so take that lady. ok im done now. later.
