calgary '03
good times in calgary!! the flights were good, met this guy shawn on the way there - lucky guy, he was going skiing for a week. fri. all the ppl came to the hotel and we chilled until the really boring meetings started. those were real dry and looooong except for the parts bout weselka, vishkil and CYM in argentina. they didn't feed us on time, so all of us were hungry, tired and bored to death; but we made our own fun. we wrote and passed around more notes than we took for the actual work we had to do. ppl were there from etobicoke, mississauga, hamilton, montreal, ottawa, edmonton, winnipeg and calgary. the banquet was alright. it was held under a church, so a couple of us were drinking upstairs just outside of the church - which was a crazy idea. we partied hard that weekend - every night. so the first night i came back to my room around 4am, and found this guy oles in my bed, so i ended up sleeping w/marta and paul in the other bed, which was pretty tight, but i passed out righte away. the second night i headed back at 4:30am, but then went and crashed in nikola's and yarko's room cuz i couldn't sleep in mine becuz of crowding. yarko was already out, but me n nick feel asleep @ around 5:30am and miraculously got up @ 7:30am for church which lasted an hour and half....wow, even the floor looked like it was moving cuz of this stupid checkered carpet pattern! that night we confused the hell our of yarko and then he threw an alarm clock and everything else that was on the night-table. then all the ppl from my oseredok got rushed out of the domivka after lunch on sun. cuz we had to go for our flight, and it totally sucked since we couldn't say bye or take pics w/lke half of the ppl that were there....but i managed to get sum, so its all good. paul oleynik was also there and crashed in our hotel room since he wasn't part of CYM. he's a kewl guy who's my brother alex's pal. me n nick barrett had a blast together the entire time....thanx buddy!! i miss all u guys from all over the best country ever CANADA!! can't wait to c u all again! let's just say we all want more eventful, awesome, CYM weekends like this one! luv, xrystia*.
