Some People's Kids
I'm making this public because this is really bugging me! I hate how people always say bands suck becuase they don't listen to that type of music! Simple Plan never claimed to be punk, fans who saw them when they first came out classifed them in that catergory! Yes, they are on warped tour and that is one reason I'm going but also to see others bands (i.e Rancid, Less than Jake, Brand New, Count the Stars, Coheed and Cambrai) Simple plan is pop-punk and they are great musicians! Yes they have a set of fans who are just tenny boppers but why do people classify a band based on there fans! People say they are sell-outs fo making it big by doing something they really love; making music and helping people through their music! It just pisses me off that people have to say they suck becasue they don't listen to them or by a select set of fans! If I started a band it would be because I love music and that is why these bands (i.e Simple Plan, Good Charlotte) started and why are to judge them becasue they are making it big for something they have dreamed of doing! Yes, I will admit I think the members of Simple plan are adorable but even if they were bald, overweight men with no teeth I would still listen to them because there music has helped me through so much shit and always seems to cheer me up; same goes with Good Charlotte!! Okay, I'm done pissing now but I just needed to get that off my chest...please leave 'em with your views!
