"Now I got a suitcase full of memories, if I could show you maybe you'd stay with me "
So, it's year 2004 people. Hmph, I don't feel any different really, another 365 days ahead of me. OK, that is depressing XD
New Year's Eve went alright, I suppose. My brother was sulking all evening, nothing new in that tho. After a few hours I got fed up with him and drank two bottles of cider. After that, I admit, I felt better. No, I wasn't drunk (please, two bottles?!) but you know what I mean. I wasn't even close to Gabby who supposedly had something stronger *Raises her eyebrow amused* We ended up playing Trivial Pursuit and Alphabet and when we finished it was after midnight already. Because all the "excitement", we even forgot to cast New Year's charms or whatever that melting tin thingy is.
Going to watch LotR: Return Of The King with Gabby tomorrow. I suppose it's some kind of a duty to go to see it. Everybody's talking about it anyway. My brother's going to see it for the second time today. Someone's obsessed :P
Thirteen, the movie we saw on Tuesday, was...well, good! In a scale from 4 to 10, I'd give 7½. Or maybe 8. I suppose the movie was realistic, at some level at least. It was sad, somehow depressing but opened your eyes at the same time. Holly Hunter was awesome as the mother of Evan Rachel Wood. She played Tracy, the girl who desperately wanted to be popular.
Today's Buffy quote:
Willow's explanation of the Indian movie: She's sad because her lover gave her twelve gold coins, but then the wizard cut open the bag of salt, and now the dancing minions have no place to put their big maple... fish thing. (Season 2, ep.5)
