Well, it looks like everyone's favorite ferret is going to get back here before Ron or Ginny does. There really should be a law against that. Oh well, I guess it seems that I don't know how to enjoy peace and quiet, anyway, so what does it matter? Let the Slytherin scum return.
I sent Hedwig off with an order for the books I'll need that I didn't get on my first swing through Diagon Alley. Those should be here tomorrow, which will give me enough time to complete the pre-term homework.
I wonder when Neville, Dean, and Seamus are going to show up. I haven't had an owl from any of them this summer, other than the one from Neville at the beginning of the summer. I hope they're all well. So far, Voldemort hasn't been open with his actions since Dumbledore thwarted his attempts last year, but it still makes me uneasy to know he and Bellatrix are out there. Remus promised to tell me if anything major happened, but I'm still worried.
However, I also promised him to do my best to just live a "normal life" while things are quiet, so I'm trying not to think too much about anything that happened last year. Also, Voldemort hasn't visited my mind since the events at the Ministry, and that helps, too.
