CASE 1: IHD case of elderly guy presented with SOB past hx of stroke, DM, HTN and hypercholesterol should be a straight forward case but a combination of nerves and tiredness, i actually forgot to ask for a hx of smoking the profs even ask me for a list of risk factors, and i can even classify them, and still forgot bt smoking they had to tell me just before i leave, and i asked the patient -- 100 pack yrs GOD didn't go into management, would be glad if they pass me on this case grilled me on ecg and chest x-ray reading CASE 2: Asthma young 12 yr old boy come in for URTI symptoms past hx of asthma straight forward case again went into hx of asthma, and once again, forgetting some details think the pressure makes u function at like 30% efficiency discussion was ok, should be a pass though i didn't go into "broad" categories on retrospect, it's amazing the nerves u have during exams the mind goes blank ur normal systemic approach vanishes questions u normally wun miss in the ward, just goes haywire just hope my worries are unfounded, and dat all will be OK Post a comment in response: |
