My schedule filled up today. It went from "class at 10" to "classes at 10, 2 and 4"
Classes? I've been asleep at 10 for the last few weeks. At 4 my brother is home and I'm playing with him. 2 is a toss up. I'll say "playing with MusicChoice channels"-time,

So, my final paper in Media Writing must have been vaugly well recieved as I passed the class, When I go bug him for a label I'll see if I can get it back. (Speaking of The System... we had some copycat posters over by the computer lab. Spooooky,)
Got to meet 3 of the 7 puppies. One left to his new home the day after I got back, but the two sweethearts we're keeping were great ^^ Solid liver (German Shorthaired Pointers, for those not so familier with me) Ringo and J, both males. SO. FUNNY. J talks. Beyound the usual Shorthair habit of giving you looks and sighs of "why do I bother with you?" So we sat and had many conversations. Ringo just loves the world. It will be strange going home again and finding them grown up a lot more.
This is my finishing up unpacking, by the way. I'm totally half way done Of course I tossed the contents of one suitcase on top of another am known for packing and unpacking quickly.

Anyway, books! "Cloud of Sparrows" by Takashi Matsuoka was really good. It took me forever to read... but was worth it. The Otori trilogy by Lian Hearn I can't reccomend in as clean-cut a manner. The first book was AMAZING and I loved it and I dived into the second one. Which... meh. Wasn't as great. But it concentrated more on the boring character which may have been my problem. Where I think I was supposed to feel sympathy for her, I just became annoyed with her. Ah, well.
I sketched, too. I'll get those scanned by this weekend. Maybe Saturday.
As far as movies go, "Haunted Mansion" bit. Bleh.
"Return of the King" on the other hand. Meow. ME. OW. That was a movie, dammit. I've never stumbled out of a movie so impressed. So perfect. So very perfect.
Video/DVD side, "Blue Collar Comedy Tour"= go find it and watch it and laugh. Now. Best stand-up in forever. Same with "A Mighty Wind." Those people are so funny ^_^ "The Hulk" ... suckage times 10. Yup. The frames gave me flashbacks to watching "Farenheit 451" sophomore year. Then I realized they were trying to look like a comic book. That's why there were sudden changes in camera angle during focused dialogue. God, it was an obnoxious movie, though.
The 1960's "Batman," on the other hand, in classic. Greatest TV show ever made, that one. Would be better if it was Julie Newmar and not... that other Catwoman. She's just annoying. Julie purred when she talked and it sounded cool. She purrs and it sounds like a cat food commercial.
"Lilo & Stich: The Series" is cute. 'Nuff said.
And yes, dammit, I did spend my break reading and watching TV. Well, I wrote a LITTLE bit. I'll finish those up and post um. Meh.
