Bastards all...
Tanu's case has been solved...I mean the criminals,Akash and his 2 scoundreloids,have been nabbed!!!The whole thing was aired on national Television too!:)and I might even be called as a witness...you know since I worked as the translator on that case.My teachers thanked me and praised me and all and I was quite happy and glowing with pride but...thinking about Tanu now...the will be tried in court and the proceedings there are brutal enough to even dishearten and discourage even the most determined girls to lose hope,get demoralized and backdown...:( plus who knows if her husband will "accept" her back now that she's all "tainted" and "dirty" and "defiled".will her life ever normalize...?I know just how unbearable it is when you're on the receiving end of even eve-teasing or "accidental "brush pasts...so i can't even begin to imagine how down our system will be after getting raped...
'Insulted' father kills daughters in UP that one of today's headlines in a very famous newspaper here.The "reporter",a female(and I'm ashamed to admit that),writes..."For any self-respecting father,this was the ultimate blow. And his reaction to the situation was equally,if not more,intense."...This "father" has SAWED OFF the heads of his 2 daughter,aged 20 and 18.Their "great" crime-love.They had eloped with their boyfriends with the intention of getting married.However,the village elders persuaded them to return to the village and get married there...WHAT A DEMENTED SON OF A BITCH...he's a monster and a goddamn fucking criminal and this bloody newspaper are painting a picture of a "self-respecting man who just couldn't bear the "ultimate bloe"...they have gone on to paint a sympathetic picture of him...saying he's very poor,has 8 children to feed(well,6 now since he's done away with 2 of his FEMALE offsprings),and how he did this just so that the rest of his family could survive in peace(how very considerate)...
I don't know what the world's coming too...this is getting too much to bear...but i'm determined to fight it all...I'd rather cleanse this hell than anything else...
