Yay, Happy, Happy
I'm back from New Orleans, had a grrr-eat time. Loved it there. What a town. It has such a laid back feel (hence, the big easy). I have lots to say about the trip, and maybe it will come out in the next couple of entries, maybe not. We'll see. I want this to be short, because I am going to go home and study there. I get so much more work done at home.
But the most important part of our little vacation: J got me an engagement ring!! Yay!! We have already been engaged for over a year, but I really wanted a ring, and he knew that and he wanted to give me one. So, we got one during this trip! It was very spontaneous. We saw a jewelery shop, went in, started trying on rings, and boom. I think we both knew that we weren't leaving without one. And it's pretty, too. It's a white gold setting with a round cut diamond.
Okay. So, I'm going to go home and get LOTS of work done. I will be productive. God, I really need to stop being such a lazy ass. I get nothing done at work.
