First update since 19 feb...
Hellooooo!!!
Seems like ages... and ages (according to someone) since i've last updated... Well, it's only been roughly four months since i've touched this blog? haha... guess there's not much time to update this.. Anyways, been pretty busy, test upon test... now it's the holidays (*it's only a 'holiday' in name, not literally). Hmmmm... more or less retired from the band already.. so that's pretty sad. haha... guess i'll miss the guys and all. Take care man, hope u all like the letters i gave u guys..
Anyways, yesterday was supposed to be the takeover. Didn't feel special... haha... guess maybe cos it's not the real thing... some of the sec 4s complain that it's as if the juniors dun feel anything.. haha.. hmmm... well, i think, what's most important here is that sense of satisfaction that u get, knowing that you've helped them.. whether or not they will acknowledge u isn't really that important... for me, i dun do things expecting gratitude from others. Guess to do so would be quite selfish.. if you think about it, when u do something for someone, ur aim would be to help that person right? if you expect them to repay u all the time, then that defeats the whole purpose of helping someone right? well, maybe it's normal that one would like to be appreciated when one does something good for others, but i think that feeling of satisfaction is appreciation enough.. a simple thank you is all i require... feeling good knowing that you've helped someone is one of the nicest feelings... haha... well.. just wanted to talk about that a little...
Anyway, basses were doing well yesterday.. and looks like they'll be having not many problems in the coming months. Keep it up guys!!! Continue ascending that never-ending learning curve! haha... well, i'm glad to see a more or less bassian spirit.. work on that guys! Remember, BASSES is the BEST! cos Basses=Euphoniums=Stringbasses=Tubas=BEST... the world's most true equation... haha... oh no, they're showing harry potter on tv now.. horribe show.. hmm... i think it's the only show i've seen where the Geek's the hero (other than american idol's Wlliam Hung)..
Well... nothing much's happened... Wee Wee stayed over yesterday.. till this morning... hmmm.. tell u all the stupid stuff we did while watching WWE's Judgement day... haha.. like we kept making really idiotic comments on the matches... *especially the Booker T and Undertaker match* ...then we created a stupid way (which is really really irritating) of saying shut up.. u go Shutaap SHutaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!! and drag the words in a very flat monotonous irritating voice.. haha... ok, the rest of the stupid things we did can't really be described in words(awww...what a waste..) haha... except that it was all funny as hell... hmm...
I've come up with a quote which sounds really philosophical, but doesn't make much sense. It's 'Not many men know how to live life, but not many have a life worth living.' haha.. dun ask me.. it just struck as i was stoning during the mrt ride back home... haha...
The weather's terrible these past few months.. seems as though everything's gotten hotter... guess, it's the saddening state of our environment.. wonder how big that ozone layer hole is.. anyways, guess we can't do anything much.. seems as though the human race is digging his/her (*equality between the sexes) own grave.. Wonder when the end of the world is coming... haha.. in case you're wondering what i'm saying has nothing to do with watching 'The Day After Tomorrow'... and i haven't watched it yet... think it should be a good show.. but those who are chronically depressed, dun think it'd be a good idea to watch it...

haha... ok... that's done... what should i do now? hmmm... just realized i haven't replied the people who mesaged me on msn... and i've finished the Pot of Bee Hoon and i'm still hungry. Think i'll go stuff myself with fruits.. just realized fruits are quite expensive. like, the other day, i saw this guy selling half a rock melon, a pretty small one, for $6!! like, i can buy two bowls of fried dumpling noodles with that! or 6 lo-mai-kais! or 15 packets of hacks sweets from the interchange mama shop! haha... anyways, fruits are important! and must eat two servings a day! or something like that...
Realized i haven't kept in touch with lots of my primary school mates... man, i gotta call them and go out or something.. but everyone's so not free cos of the Os preparation (including me).. Singapore's education system is really very stressful and pressurising... but at least we're well-supplied with knowledge which we'll most likely not apply in our future lives? haha... well, to say our government is good isn't exactly true; and neither is saying our government's bad... i guess we're (I'm?) just being picky..
hmmm... i stumbled on this quote... "Don't be so humble - you are not that great." - Golda Meir (1898-1978) to a visiting diplomat.. and i think this really makes a lot of sense... when i think about it, i realize that many of us aren't actually humble by nature, but humble cos we crave praise... very few are genuinely sincere about their humbleness... *just a thought for you all to nibble and ponder on.
Anyways.. started playing Onimusha 3: Demon Seige.. and it's really good.. i wanna get the Guidebook! but then, it's one of those luxuries i guess i can't really afford.. gotta save money.. what with the economic downturn and all... haha.. thank god for www.Gamefaqs.com... god bless their souls. Onimusha 3 is a really good game.. for all those playing it, good for u! For all those not, go get it (only if you've got that extra money to spare)! For those who dun have a Ps2, guess you'll just have to entertain yourselves with other stuffs... hmmm...
Hmmmm... you know.. seems that i find more and more ppl sinking into depression.. as Aldous Huxley (Who?) once said, 'Maybe this world is another planet's Hell.' hmmm.. but with the number of ppl i see each day with a serious look on their face, i'm beginning to wonder that planet is in fact this world.. i had ppl come complaining to me about how their so sick of life and stuff.. well, i guess the only way to save yourselves would be to snap out of it, see things from a positive viewpoint and just make the best of what u have. Why make yourself so miserable? Isn't the world doing that for you already? Think about this if start feeling down.. personally, giving up's for losers... the winners persevere.. yup, remember, if you're feeling down, think of something good, look on the bright side of life, and move on strong!
