All I Want For Christmas....
Is some Wellies, some gloves, and a giant, heavy-duty-wind-resistant umbrella. This is my second week of working in Seattle, and I love it in spite of the torrential down pours which leave my pants soaking wet from my mid-thigh down, the gale force winds which literally almost send me rolling down Columbia Ave., and freezing my fingers off while waiting for the train in the morning. Yes, I LOVE my job, and I love working in the city, even if it means having to walk a couple miles a day in the lovely Seattle weather (note that in the summer there won't be any sarcasm in that last bit).
By the way, I was wrong in which office is mine in that picture. It's actually this one:

Well I will have to give a run down of my day a little later - I have been up since 3:45am this morning, so needless to say I am kind of tired. But I still need to tell you all about my experiences with the train (including getting to the train, and the somewhat crazy people who ride it), the people I work with (Sara - remember how I said the guy who is training me reminds of someone we went to high school with? I figured it out. Casey Talkington. I will let you think about how hilarious my days are), and all the many glories of working downtown (a lot of these have to do with food because I am pretty much obsessed, but they also have to do with shopping and watching people from my office window when they think no one can see them).
