    Office Space
    Have you ever been downtown (Seattle that is) and thought how awesome it is? The beautiful historic brick buildings, the huge, posh condo buildings, the market, the shopping, the waterfront, the fact that all this can be found within a few blocks? Have you ever thought of that and then envied the lucky that get to work there? In one of those cute buildings in Pioneer Square? With a nice office and a huge window overlooking Columbia Ave? Well you would be envying ME! Yesterday I accepted a job with FSI Engineers, a small, very successful firm of consulting engineers on the corner of 1st and Columbia. It is the perfect job because it is only 7 hours a day for three days a week, it is exactly what I want to be doing (lots of boring accounting stuff that for some reason I find exciting beyond belief), the people at the firm are amazing, I get to take the train to and from work everyday, and did I mention that I have an office with a window over looking Columbia Ave?? I've seriously been bouncing off the walls since I accepted the offer yesterday.
