A beautiful gown on an ugly ugly girl

I'm really way too cool for Junior Prom.... but I suppose I should go. Because I have to see who's wearing what. And because I got one of the most amazing dresses.

The prom shopping extravaganza was not my idea of fun; mind you, it was like Fashion Hell.

8217482375928094820357 girls and their mothers fighting over gowns, screaming bitches, crying babies, finding all the dresses of my dreams and finding out they are all sold out, almost decideding upon a generic prom dress, thinking "This dress is so normal.... if I see a girl with the same dress as me, I'll kill myself....", and then thinking about just giving up on this fucking lame dance.

Well. After all of that, I narrowed it down to two choices. Ones that are sooo completely opposite.

There was the elegant gold satin dress with diamond beaded sleaves. Very slinky and shiney and simple.

Then there was the dress that was four times to big for me, the only one the had (it was a custom make), 16-layerd, turquoise blue tule and sequined princess gown. OHH!!!!!!!!!!! The lady even said I looked like I was on cloud nine.

They are both stunning dresses, so when in doubt, buy both!! But there's no doubt about it; that blue dress is my prom dress. (The gold one for spring concert, or dress up maybe.)

We weren't allowed to be taking pictures, but screw that.

^ So many gowns, so few occasions. These are only a handfull out of dozens I tried on!

^ I go for either sleek and simple gowns, or large, poofy princess gowns. Some of these poofy gowns remained standing after I hopped out of them. (Hopped being the key word, since the skirts are so big I have to climb my way in).

And Voila: Junior Prom gown preview:

That's my beautiful turquoise blue princess gown. I like how it engulfs me (and anyone that comes in contact with me. I think anyone who tries to dance with me will be mysteriously dissapearing.)

Prom is this Saturday. My parents think I should dye my hair auburn again. They also think I should enter the light and do what normal people do; go tanning. Because I'm told I look so much prettier when I'm tan. Mehhh I think I look pretty with or without a tan. SO they can go to the salon and lock themselves in a UV box and burn to death. Not I.
