CATALINA! WOO. it was crazy. went to catalina for a day wit jr. g's. it was awsome. i had to wake up early, but SO worth it. on the way there i sat on the front of the boat with sum other ppl. we just talked the whole time, one of the kids got sick and puked over the edge and dan(our leader) wanted a picture of it. when we got there we went out and found a boat on shore and we were going to try and take it out but then when we reached it we found out it was FILLED with sand. we started climbing rocks and found a spot to jump and so we did. our leader told us that it was too shallow but we jumped anyways. he didnt care, he said "its your life". "should i jump", "i dont care its your life". ha. so then we went back to the boat and ate and had contests jumping off the front of the boat. it was sick. i won smallest splash and there was also biggest splash, best dive and some other ones. we went swimming and found other cliffs to jump off of. we also found some caves and a blow hole that we named jg blow hole. we would go inside and the water would fill and then spit the water back out of the mouth of the cave thing. it hurt your ears. but it was fun. we also found a big cave thing that wasnarrow and we called it the goblet of death. we went way passed the boundary that was set. it was fun. when we got back we started shooting water balloons at each other using a sling shot that one of the kids brought. but we accidentaly hit the radar thing and we broke it. he duck taped it and tried to keep it dry so he could get it fixed later. on the way back we were using the slingshot to shoot stuff at the seagulls. we shot fruit at them. it started to raid and we got cought in a storm so alot of the people went underneath the deck. but like 6 of us stayed on deck and went to the front and got soaked by the rain and waves and the STRONG wind. it was crazy. we were soaked and we screamed songs like tenacious D, little mermaid song, acunamatada, giligans island, spongebob square pants, and yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me! it was an awsome trip. i was so tired and i got so cut up from the rocks that i went to bed so early. the entire time that i was up i still felt like i was on the boat. rocking back and forth. ha. it was funny.
today at jr guards dan didnt go any easier on us just b/c we were all tired from the trip. we had to do a run swim run, run paddle run, paddle run paddle, and a run swim run. it sucked! and REALLY hurt my cuts. but it was still fin. we got sum surf time too, so its all good.
