Been a while
It's been a whole month since I updated here. Partly because I've forgotten, and partly because Blurty is a total bitch and I usually can't even get on.
Well, I don't have a whole lot to say, so I'll just update on a few things. I moved into the new place a little over a week ago. I really like it! It needs a little work before I will be completely satisfied though. A little paint, some new furniture, and all will be as it should.
The new job is going great too! It's just so much fun. It doesn't even feel like work. It's like a place I go to have fun for a few hours, and I get paid for it!
I went to Market Days in Chicago this past weekend. I had heard of it before, but never really knew what it was. Well, I've come to find out that it's really a pride celebration. Chicago has an actual PrideFest in June like most cities, but that one is for all the annoying out-of-towners. I guess most of the locals leave during it. Market Days is their Pride, but it's about 100% more attractive, and just generally a much more fun place to be. From now on I will be bypassing PrideFest (thank god, it sucked) and going to Market Days instead.
School starts again in less than a month. I am so not looking forward to it, a little scared of it even. I should be ecstatic because it should be my last semester. I don't know why it's filling me with dread. I guess I'm afraid of not doing well, because if I don't, it won't be my last semester.
I need a bottle of wine.
