No more random button for me
I came across a journal hitting random today...
Some British kid complaining about how his parents are "stingy" because they are making him pay for clothes...
Than, he went on to say that he's going to New York for easter,Portugal this summer, than spending a semester in Egypt, and eventually going to Holland next year.
I like the fact that I can say that I earned everything I own. My parents never bought me my first car, or clothes, or all the stupid little shit. It's so hard to understand where these people get their points of view from. My parents did not have the money to send me to college... Who knows if they would of if they had the cash...
If I had gotten the chance to go to school... It would be the chance of a lifetime for me. All my friends left the fall after high school...
It was just Kate and I... and we were looked down upon because we were the only two who weren't in college..
It sucked running into old friends around the holidays and the first question they ask is, "What school are you going to?"
Well... the year went by...
and we'd get the news one by one
at least half of my friends failed out of their first year.
I wanted to beat them to a pulp!!!!
Of course I wish I sould have had all the fun extras when I was growing up, but I know that I am better off without them all the time, because than, when I get that easy break every once in a while... I can really appreciate it!
