fml update part... i don't know.
darren finally got to go to court for his ticket. he has to go back on october 27 and we have a lot to accomplish before then.
they sent the revocation warnings/notices to his parents' house because that's the address on his license, even though they sent other mail to our apartment. they sent the notices prior to july, when his parents still lived there. which presumably means they got them and didn't tell darren. awesome.
so, in the next month and a half-ish, he needs to get find an insurance company that will actually provide coverage (and call those fucking fuckers at esurance and get our fucking money back so we can instead give the money to an insurance company that doesn't suck), send in proof of insurance to the state, take his license test again, make sure it has his correct address, and then go back to court and still pay a $500 fine.
at least we know now and we can move forward. having to spend a month freaking out about it was not cool.
