Whats happened since my last update
Is this, I went to work as a full time Sobeys worker in the crappy as hell seafood department, maybe I would have different feelings for this stuff if I went alergic to it, but lucky enough for me its only when I eat it, I can be around it and touch it all day long if I desire, which I dont, fresh salmon is slimy as all hell, not to worry though, that just means its healthy, Horay!
Anyways Thursday came around and it was my first day off when at 9:00 in the morning what do I hear other then my phone ringing, and lordy be, its Sobeys! Whoever was supposed to be there called in sick, thus they asked me to come in, I told them I couldnt I only had THREE days training uder my belt afterall I couldnt manage the whole seafood department all by my lonesome! Yet they convinced me to do just that when I heard the magical words of "overtime" and "time and a half" So I went, and for 7 glorious hours I wasnt getting paid minimum wage, no I was getting paid nearly $10 a hour! Then the day got REALLY good, luckly enough while I was on break I got a call on my cell phone from ICT, which is a call center, they gave me a quick phone interview then asked me to come in for a small computer test on Tuesday for Microsoft word, and that the job if I wanted it after said test was pretty much garenteed to me.....as a side note here I would like to mention the fact that I have used Microsoft word more times in my life then I can count, so I did the only thing that made sence, The next day I quit my shitty job at Sobeys in the seafood section which I hated dearly.
Flash forward to Tuesday gone and I got the job at ICT, which will be paying $8.00 a hour while training and after training (3-4 weeks) I get paid $9.00 a hour and eventually I get other benifits after a while such as dential and medical, sure Canada has medicare and all but we still dont get our perscription pills for free, and I need those for my Thryoid problem.
Anyways I start work at ICT this coming Monday at get this 4:30 in the afternoon! I dont even have to get up early if I dont want to how sweet is that! My main problem is working is the getting up early thing, I am not a morning person!
Anyways thats what has heppened to me, so Let the good times roll baby!
