Hard times but still fun times
Yup things are getting a little harder for me here in St. Johns right now. One of my room mates moved out taking all of her stuff with her. I knew it was only a matter of time before it happened but I was told I would have plenty of notice before it actually did happen. Oh well I guess if you consider coming home and then a hour later her coming home and taking a bunch of her stuff out the dorr without saying a word is plenty of notice then I got more then enough notice. It really sucks though. I love her like a sister and I honestly feel betrayed by her. Like I said I knew she was moving out but I was told I would get plenty of notice on it, I guess I should of known the difference though letting someone know something plenty of time in advance just isnt her style. Either way I feel like Im owed an apology for it since I was told there would be plenty of notice.

Also to add to the hard times is the fact that I STILL havent gotten a job. I had an interview at a place called the shoe company the other day and I almost feel to my knees in joy when they told me I had the job but what they neglected to tell me during the interview was the fact that I would be getting minimum wage, which I dont mind as much, but also that I would only be getting 10 hours a week....TEN HOURS A WEEK? Im not going to take a job where Im making less then Im getting sitting on my ass doing nothing with EI. Screw that noise. Of corse though I just kindly declined there offer once they told me about the hours. Im not THAT big of a jackass afterall. Today I had another job interview. This time at a grocery store called Sobeys. If I get the job I will be working in the seafood department. I must say I thought the interview went fantastic, but I have said that about all of my interviews so far, and so far only got one "we'll take him!" which like I just said would only give me 10 hours a week. The guy doing the interview told me that he would get me as many hours as possible if I got the job as asked if it would be a problem if I had to work nights. Obvioulsy it wouldnt be, I mean hell I dont go to bed until 4 or 5 in the morning!

The last of the problems ties right into the first one. Now that there are only two of us living at the place rent just went up. ALOT. With three people it would be $250 a month, with only two of us it would be $375. I got my EI money last night and today already gave my room mate $200 of it. so I still owe him another $175 when I get EI again in another two weeks. This wouldnt be so bad if not for the fact that Im only getting a grand total of $238 every two weeks from it. So yeah that means in I have only $38 for the next two weeks, and guess what... I need grocries too. Looks like Im gonna have to do what I hate to do and call home for some money. God just the thought of that makes me want to cry. I wont though, Im to much of a man to cry....well over money at least.

Aside from those three "little" things everything else is fan friggin tastic! Im still having the time of my life here ever if I do have a little bit of stress on the go. That bit of stress is more then worth the fun though. Me and my room mate are also trying to talk one of my friends from back home in Burnt Islands to move in with us as well, now that there is an extra room. He wants to move here anyways its just a matter of will he move in with us or with some other people. My fingers are crossed that he chooses us. We also have another friend whos already living here at his sisters place to move in with us. Hes paying rent to her for living there so we dont understand why he would rather live with his sister thus being under the watchful eye of his mother 24/7 then moving in with us. The main reason he says is that at his sisters he dosent have to buy grocries. What a load of shit I say.

Also at home now the apartment is a sterotypical bachlors dream (at least for us two living there) the main reason for this is because well, we just as well say that, the living room has been transformed into a arcade. Thats right, an ARCADE. We have two TVs out there and four count em four, thats 1, 2, 3 FOUR, video games systems hooked up out there all at once. The systems are Playstation 2, Gamecube, Super Nintendo and perhaps the greatest video game system of all time, Nintendo, the orginal. And whats more for Nintento we have Double Dragon (SWEET!!!) and Mike Tysons Punch Out, and soon I shall be in the elite that can beat Mike Tysons Punch Out, Im on Super Macho Man now, The hardest bastard in the game, after that is Mr. Mike Tyson himself. It will be a good day when I beat this game.

Anyways thats about all I can think of to rant off about at the moment so until next time, Stay Classy.
