It's been a while!
Wow It's been 28 days since I have last stopped by my journal. A lot has happened in the past few weeks. I have gone from the happiest person in the world to just ok back to happy and then here I am again.
The 7th was an awesome day. Lisa and I went out to Cool Arrow's and Grahams with some old friends from West Texas. I had a blast! It had been 14 months since we had last seen them but yet we all just sort of picked up where we left off. We talked, we laughed, we danced and hung out then the night was over and reality hit. It may be another 14 or so months till the next time we see them and then what? I guess true friends always find their way back sooner or later.
Speaking of it's been a week and a day since the last time I spoke to the one that hold's my heart in his hands. I miss him, really I do! It sucks when your so used to hearing from some one and then nothing at all for this long. I know the signs say get over it but I really have feelings for this one. Heck I'd of moved on months ago if I didn't believe he was worth it. Hope everything is OK in his world. I'm sure it is Just busy as usual.
Changing the subject......Last Sunday (7/11/04) IMAN was in town. Lisa and I headed out to Ritmo Latino to spend some time with the guys and it was so much fun. It wasn't the same as with SIGGNO but heck I'm not complaining . The Show was great and we got a chance to talk to them about their new project that should be done real soon. I can't say what it is just yet but I am anxiously awaiting the release.
In SIGGNO Land everything is back to the norm. Juan decided not to leave the state so he's back in and so is Checo. That's a good thing I can't wait to see them Next Thursday (7/22/04) in C. C. with Alazzan, Intenso and Notable.
I just got back in to town from C. C. today as a matter of fact. I went to go visit Melissa and Eloy. It was great to spend time with Mel and get away to get my mind off things. Thursday night we went out to STINGERS! Man oh Man that place was it! I'd say everybody in the club was tipsy...LOL.. I mean wouldn't you be after a few visits with Jose Cuervo, Captain Morgan, Crown Royal and Vodka 7. Mind you that was just what I had. The dance floor was where we spent most of the night. I hadn't danced like that since high school. But I found that I still got it when I just loosen up and go with the flow ;)
Friday I got a phone call from an EX just as Mel and I were remembering those crazy days. Talk about a weird coincidence. He's Married now, In the ARMY, stationed in Washington and just had a baby girl. I'm happy for him but wonder if he's really happy. I asked how married life was and all I got was "It's ok" not exactly excited about it, it seemed. Any way he's going to Iraq in October so I'll be sure to keep him and his family in my prayers.
After the phone call, laying out on the beach, Shopping and fun at the pool we got ready and went to see Solido at Myrna's. They had a small but very enthusiastic crowd. Including myself. Man I wish they could have played "Tal Vez" all night. I love that song. Not to mention a few others that brought thoughts of "MONKEY" to mind. I tell you I can't stop thinking of him (sigh).
Spoke to Lisa earlier and it seems we are in a bit of the same situation. She says she still loves my brother lol but that one from the past keeps her thinking something is gonna happen there. That's the one she really wants but dang it he's stupid he doesn't see what he has either. We'll see what happens there.
So much more has gone on but I think I have out done myself with this entry. If I keep on typing I'll never stop. I guess I am just gonna be here at home tonight. Don't feel like getting out. Maybe he'll call... Most likely he won't but I have hope for all that's worth.
