    mah trip to hongcouver \o/
Back from vancouver. Pj's dumb family reunion was like from 3pm-9pm on saturday and 5pm-9pm on sunday, so we really didn't have a chance to do anything except go to the aquarium saturday morning. At least our hotel was super close to the mall so I could go shopping a little bit. Unfortunately we didn't eat anywhere nice, it was fast food like the whole time. I wanted to eat some gourmet fresh BC food. I'm kind of mad because I thought we'd only have to be there for one day and we'd have a whole day to dick around and actually see vancouver. It was my first time on a plane and my first time in vancouver, and I really didn't see anything besides the uneventful aquarium. Gay.

There were so many asians. My brother calls vancouver Hongcouver. It was the first time I've ever been a minority and it was pretty freaky. Pj wants to move there for the weather, but I'm not sure if I can deal with that many asians who don't speak proper english. I really don't like foreigners who don't even put in any effort to be completely fluent/understandable in a country they are working in. I always thought saskatoon was pretty racially diverse, but it feels like a little white red neck town compared to vancouver. I guess we have natives...?

It was actually fall there and they have wayyyy more maple trees than we do. They were the brightest red I ever saw, and when I came back to saskatoon everything was brown and green and covered in snow. It felt really dreary, especially since when you come out of the airport immediately there are these shitty run down houses with paint peeling off the sides. It just made me want to go back, even though all of the asians there kind of freaked me out.

I missed how unfashionable everyone in saskatoon is though. I felt pretty embarrassed walking around vancouver in jeans and a t-shirt while everyone ages 14+ was in high heels. I ended up buying some 'trendy' clothes in vancouver that will probably never see the sun of saskatoon. I tried to go to forever 21, but that store was absolutely insane. I'm not sure if it's always jammed packed with asians or if there was some sale, but you could barely move from all of the people. Picking out something, trying it on and buying it would probably take about 3 hours. The line up to the till was about 50 people long. There were definitely a few hundred people in there, and there was even an escalator in the store to the bottom part of it. It was crazy. I didn't buy anything there.

There were tonnes of whores in vancouver, or maybe that's just their night-wear. I saw one girl who was wearing a very short jacket, leggings(the see-through kind that are basically dancer's tights) and high heels. I'm... pretty sure you're not supposed wear leggings as pants like that. I think. I don't know but it was awkward and awful.
