Christmas day at my parent's house was nice. I got my palm pilot and digicam. My brothers got a 4x4 because it was part of the deal when my parents told them they were moving to the country.

Boxing day I drove to Scarborough and picked up Kate, met her grandparents again. I had a conversation with her grandfather about our mutual dislike of city driving. We drove back to my parent's house and sat on the living room couch and watched muchmusic. It was very cozy. Soon the relatives started to arrive, my whole Dad's side of the family showed up, enough of them that I couldn't identify who some were.

The whole experience was surprisingly unpainful. My Mother gave me and Kate a Blockbuster card and a box of popcorn. Kate brought my Mother a burned copy of Clay Aitken's CD, which I'm sure she'll appreciate.

Later in the day I took Kate for a walk down the road to this really pretty old house and then out onto the trail that follows the old railroad tracks. This led to a church and a graveyard where I took some really pretty pictures. We walked back and then hung around my house for a bit more.

I drove Kate back to Scarborough and I ended up sleeping over on her couch, since her Grandmother had previously offered it. We decided against unfolding the couch for me because we determined that it may look suspicious in the morning. Although when we awoke the first thing out of her Grandparent's mouth was how much of a bad host she was for not unfolding it.

Her grandparents are really nice. We headed out to pick up Mel at the train station. Went to the grocery store. Went downtown to meet Shawn at the Skywalk and then set about finding something to do.

Through the great and rocking randomness of the city we ended up heading down to Ontario place on the Harbourfront streetcar to see finding Nemo at the Cinesphere. It was good again, but seemed very short, probably because the last movie I saw was the Return of the King with Ryan earlier in the week.

After the movie we walked to my house after stopping at the King and Dufferin McDonalds which has a special place in my head because it was where me and Ryan ate after getting lost in downtown Toronto the first night we stayed here.

At my house we watched Iron Eagle, and Ryan called halfway through and I invited him down. He's living in the city now, at Yonge and Eglinton with his Aunt and Uncle. After the movie was over we rode back to Scarborough. We all, minus Shawn went to Kate's house and watched TV for an hour while I waited for traffic to die down so I could drive the car back through the city to drop all my stuff off at my apartment.

Unfortunately, when we left the traffic hadn't died down at all so I ended up driving the 401, DVP, and the expressway in very heavy traffic, followed by some always entertaining downtown city driving. It all worked out though.

We unloaded, and I waited some more, then left to drive back to my parent's house. I left Ryan there because my Aunt was driving me back and she only had one empty seat. When I got to my parent's house everyone was still awake despite it being almost 3 AM. I played a movie trivia board game with them for an hour or so and then went to bed.

I got up in the morning, caught my ride with my Aunt. Went home after being dropped in Scarborough, got in touch with Kate and her and Mel and Shawn came over for movies. We rented Donnie Darko, which didn't work, and Pirates of the Caribbean which was awesome.

I took the girls back to Scarborough and Kate drove me to Victoria park and I took the subway home.

As we were all running to catch the Ossington bus my palm pilot fell out of my pockets suffered some scratches to the casing and screen flip cover, but as I said, it just adds 'character'.

I'm going to try to do something about Donnie Darko not working because I want to see it.

It's been a great couple days, the more time I spend with Kate, the closer we get. I guess in theory, we're already past our one month anniversary. I'm really really happy with my life right now. I couldn't ask for anything to make it more awesome.
