I'm at my parent's house. On highly unstable internet, on a highly unstable computer. It feels so odd using a computer that isn't mine. It's my little brother's, and it's got that 'used by a teenager feel', skateboarding mouse pointer, Jackass wallpaper, and annoying sounds when a MSN message comes in. Beside that the mouse isn't optical, therefore a piece of crap, and the keyboard is a mushy mess. I miss Kate (which just by randomness, I had named my computer that when I bought it). I miss my Kate too.

She bought our tickets to Something Corporate. I'm really excited. Going to a Something Corporate show with a girl has always been a goal of mine and now it looks like it's going to happen. I can't think of a more perfect moment than holding Kate tight listening to Konstantine.

Kate might also be coming to my parent's house on Boxing day. Boxing day is the big family Christmas for my Dad's side of the family and it should be rocking as usual.

Friday evening Kate and I had 'our Christmas' or rather 'our Christmukkah' (No, Kate's not Jewish, it's just an inside OC joke). I woke up and had to go downtown and meet Jenna to receive a Christmas card which was very nice of her and I felt bad I had to leave so quickly.

I met Kate at the STC at 3 and we drove back to her house and I got to meet her Grandparents. It went expectently painlessly, and they seem very nice. I hope they were impressed with me.

Then we headed back crosstown after a quite an ordeal finding a parking spot at the STC (think following people from the store exits back to their cars to find a spot and people just pulling there cars up on the sidewalk), got pizza to take home, snuggled up on the couch and after exchanging presents we 'watched' The Shawshank Redemption. Kate got me the Hey Mercedes CD and a tin full of cookies she baked me herself along with packets of hot chocolate, which I think is the nicest, most thoughtful gift anyone has ever given me. The cookies are really tasty too, I brought them home with me and all of us have been eating them. I gave her the Piebald CD and the Jets To Brazil CD, wrapped in a Telus ad because she loves the pigs, although now all the ads seem to be of puppies, atleast on the bus and subway. I also wrote a note which I can't remember the exact contents of, but I know it was sappy.

At about 10:30 I rode with her back to the STC, walked her to her car, and once again the night was over much earlier than I would have liked. It was a great night, my first Christmas 'with' someone. The way things are going, I don't think I could be happier.

Rode downtown this morning, took back my books en route. Caught the GO to Pickering, met my parents and went back to their house. I'm staying here until like the 29th I think. Free food has never been more appreciated.
