I wrote at least a couple of times in my posts about my passion of reading. Needless to say that it has not changed even a bit. Reading is fun plus a perfect learning experience. As Forrest Gump’s mother always said, “Life is like a box of chocolates ; you never know what you’re gonna get. These are some of the quotes I came across while reading, which are really quotable. ”The squeaky wheel may get the most oil, but it’s also the first to be replaced.” “heroes are the people who rise to the occasion and slip quietly away.” “Flowers and plants are silent presences; they nourish every sense except the ear.” “100 bucks saved for 100 years will become 1,00,000 bucks at which time it will be worth absolutely nothing.” But then, “A penny saved is a penny gained.” “In reality, prophecies are the memory of humanity. No prophet has ever predicted anything; they have simply remembered things past.” And then following are the one of my favorites, first among them being by Nicole Kidman, ”The power of work, and the power of creativity, can be your salvation.” “I listen to critics because often they’re a good source of information for what you have to do differently.” “A vision without the ability to execute is probably a hallucination.” And last but not the least, “People ask how I feel about getting old.
