Houseparties part 1: formals
Pretty uneventful in terms of anything interesting. A few people left early with me because a ton of people are also in the same JP boat as me. I ended up just going to sleep around midnight, and waking up at 6:00, doing some work for about 40 minutes, then sleeping until 9:30, and here I am.
The main entree was a bit of lamb, steak, fish, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. I think there were dumplings and salad beforehand. The decorations were much less extravagant this year. Blame it on the recession? Haha. Princeton recession = still rich-looking to 90% of people.
My dress was long and deep purple. Wearing dresses is tough here, because asian girls were made for dresses, it seems.
