科學家警告：氣候變遷可能較原預期更嚴重
法新社芝加哥14日電） 著名氣候科學家今天警告，關於全球暖化 未來可能引發災難的可怕警告可能還不夠可怕。

曾獲得諾貝爾獎 的「政府間氣候變遷問題小組」(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change,IPCC)一年多前曾公布一份史無前例的報告，警告海平面上升、沙漠擴大、更激烈的風暴和多達30%的植物和動物絕種。

但小組的的高級成員警告，最近的一份氣候研究認為，一年多前的報告嚴重低估未來100年全球暖化的潛在嚴重性。

新報告的主要作者費爾德（Chris Field）說：「我們現在基本上正在注意未來的氣候變化，它將超越我們在氣候政策上所認為的嚴重程度。」
