...the kind of morning that lasts all afternoon
Ok, that's John Mayer, not me but it's such a cool observation. So excited about the concert on Wednesday!
Reluctantly got up this morning, did the normal stuff, actually ate something, stayed awake and felt smart in Chemistry, tied up some loose ends about stuff this week, then went to New Testament. For some reason I had to try and stay awake, and didn't really catch anything Dr. Bryant said, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't important. He tends to ramble. It has been a day of a lot of talking but not saying much (more on that later). Piano went pretty well. We have a test on Wednesday on all the scales and a harmonization, and tomorrow's gonna be busy so I have to add practice time into the schedule somewheres. Went and got take out GDH and ate by myself outside of Springs while intimidating the prospective students that were walking by (*evil laugh*). Burned the CD for the show last night, so I didn't have to do any last minute work. I did a John Mayer show today in honour of the concert on Wednesday. Came back to the room for an hour(ish) before going to play in the sax ensemble at one of the many local retirement homes. Mr. Bair is totally corny, but we had a good time and were a smash hit. It went pretty well too, musically anyway. Came back for jazz band that also went well, then an interesting dinner with my friends. Mealtimes are never boring, despite the food. Came back to the room to get ready for the recital tonight, went to that, then came back and talked to Courtney for a while before going to Dr. Hobbie's Bible Study. We had a sex talk tonight, and it's amazing how people in college can talk for an hour straight and manage to say nothing at all. Anyway, it was good fellowship I guess. Came back to the room and started my Calculus homework and just finished it a little while ago. It didn't take me that long once I was checking the right questions with the right answers. So now Ryan's in bed and I'm keeping him up with my typing, so I'd better go. Later!
