things have been pretty strange lately. i ended up working 2 hours at work last friday and going to play frisbee golf. never played this game before but it was fun. very windy day. after that leslie and i started the night of drinking to celebrate my new job. went to a couple bars and bought a clock from a man missing many teeth. i slept all day on saturday and visited my family on sunday. i talked to my mom for a long time since i hadn't seen her in a while. 3 days left until i am free from my current job. i leave work early and show up late. everyone working there understands. i have to write a letter to the company about why i am resigning. it's very hard to choose the right words without offending people. i quit because i had no manager and the district manager was expecting me to step in and run store operations. i would have done that for more money but it's my rule not to do more than what i am paid to do. i learned the hard way. i want to go to columbia soon. i just need to get out of kansas city for a little while. my trip to vancover is being planned, but getting people together will be difficult since many of us don't have much money right now. i'm working on a project for my friends new apartment. that will keep me busy for a while...
