Stay With Me A While...
Harvest is such a beautiful song; it's certainly one of my favourites. It's melancholic, but, I always feel like I'm being led into a gorgeous, undulating fantasy-- drowning in a tide of Valium. (I love being a writer. Cause I can get away with saying weird shit like that. Ha ha.)
Yesterday was really wonderful, which is why I began this entry. Was actually one half of a prom couple (Ooh, ahh; you, marvel!), thanks to Chris. Speaking of (and to) Chris: Thank you so much for everything. You're without doubt one of the best people I have ever met, and hey, if we don't end up staying together forever (or at least for a nondescript amount of time), you're certainly going to make some girl very, very happy. Don't ever change, not for anyone, no matter how strange you might feel sometimes. Because people love you for who you are, and for good reason. Even if they don't tell you like I do. Even if I don't tell you sometimes: I love you. I mean that, and I will never take it back, no matter what happens. (That's okay, isn't it?)
Mmm, so, what to do now? I'm actually perfectly content right now, so I don't think it matters too much. It's wonderful to be happy... ^_^
Yes, so, editing going on. When I looked at this, I was like, "Wow, I'm not done remotely." Ha ha.
So, lets do a summation of last night into this morning. (This morning meaning post 12am on June 24th. I'm too lazy to be politically correct :P) Chris picked me up about quarter to five, and we went to Lido's. Waited for his girlfriend and Chris' friend Rich's date to come. The former did, but the latter, who I actually know, didn't, and Rich went home. It was awful: even though I don't know him personally, I was really upset. Can't believe she would do that...
So, we ended up going about 6.30 (got there around...7:15, I think. Maybe 7:30). It was a lot of fun, and the nerves passed very quickly. Between Lido, his date, and me, we got Chris to dance. (Even to slow dance once, which was really sweet. ^_^) We talked for about an hour too, out on the balcony, about games and what our plans were for the future. He's going to be a journalist, and I'm going to be an editor (hopefully). Carolines was pretty fun too. It was good, but some of the jokes...weren't. Ahaha. And then Chris slept on me the whole way home (well, to Lido's), which was very comforting, somehow. Didn't even really mind being the only one awake, because I got to watch him sleep. (I know, MUSHYNESS! :p) Yeah, and my dress (it ended up being navy blue) was great, and Chris looked absolutely Gorgeous in his suit. Ahaha. No, but, really, when I say that, I am anything but kidding. GodDamn, he looked great. All in all, it was a great night, and I slept until 12 this afternoon. It was lovely.
Mmm...tired...*yawn* Don't know if I'm going to Chris' graduation tomorrow. If not, well, Good Luck, love.
Yeh...time to end the entry. Too tired to think anymore.
