The Family Webb reunion
Hellote once again for yet another journal entry!

Yesterday I went into town to have lunch with some people from the theatre company for a little get together for Greg, who is visiting from North Bay for a couple of days. It was good to see him again and to catch up. It was also the first time in quite awhile that all four members of the family webb from Our Town [myself, Greg, Lisa and Christi] were together and so we took a picture together. It certainly brought back good memories of the time in Our Town.

On Monday, I got a message from one of the administrator of the Voice Acting Alliance that I was accepted to be a staff writer for the community. For those of you who might not know about the VAA, it is an online community for aspiring voice actors to gain experience for their dreams of full time voice acting.
Now, what would a staff writer do for this community? Well my main goal is to help start a trend of seeing more original work in the community happening more often. The productions on the VAA for the most part are homage/tributes to anime. Not that I don't like something like that, but I do hope to see some more original material being made.
But here's a short list of the stuff I'll be doing as a Staff Writer:
Writing articles on creative writing
Reviewing productions [which I'll probably review original work more often than the anime tributes]
Helping out with any special events and productions that come up
Writing original material to use as productions [good use for my "For Your Ears Only" idea and the thought of just writing a bunch of scripts is very enticing to me]

In other news, I got a rough version of the splash page for chapter 1 of Life Study from Vanessah, basically just a version before she would ink it. I really liked it and told her to go ahead with the inking so the comic should be starting any time now.
