Wrasslin' at the LBR
Just back from the Lord Beaver Brook Rink. Saw some Grand Prix Wrestling. Going into it, I know it wasn't going to be like the ECW pay-per-view but I would still enjoy it for what it was. There was some fine wrestling, although some howkieness in some of the gimmicks [spider man for example] and during the matches, but I let it slide because it is part of the show and people do get into it like it was old school.
My only beef about the show was the lack of security, which by lack I mean none and a lot of the crowd was kids so they would be running all over the place, hanging near the ring, the entrance way, etc. oh it was just annoying with that and how the kids were acting like ECW fans and not even accomplishing that goal.
I talked with one of the wrestlers after the show in fact one of the female wrestlers [Krysta] who was very nice and really enjoyed being apart of the show and being in the business and I hope to see her branch out and gets more exposure. I can see her in like WWE or TNA or even following women like Sara Stock into places like Mexico.
