It's been a couple of days now since the end of Moonchildren and yes I'm feeling that "post-show blues" about missing being apart of it and working with everyone, especially since I've been all alone in the house during the day, looking for a job and working on some writing. But once things like the webcomic and the cartoon gets going and getting a job, the blues will slide, but apart of me will miss the show. Life Study is looking for a premier this weekend, I would imagine. I set up an account at comic genesis on Saturday and it takes a week to get the password from the administrators. I'm starting work on writing content for the site like a FAQ, cast and story pages. One thing I want to have is not to make this webcomic a chore for new readers who discover it like a year from now in going through the archive just to catch up. But there is a thing that I noticed that webcomics I've discovered that have been around for years that if the story and art is engaging that spending a couple of hours going through it isn't so bad and Vanessah's art for this is truly amazing. I don't want to be lazy and have a cast page that says, "i'll work on this when i feel like it" that just sits there for years [cough cough Megatokyo cough], which I do love, don't get me wrong, the books are great! Right now I have the second chapter written out that all it needs is a quick padding and I have an outline for chapter three that I'll start writing once the comic is up. I will say that the writing aspect of this comic is a lot of fun to do, while at the same time challenging, but I'm actually finding it just as fun as when I do my off the wall improvised scripts. Vanessah and I have a blog for the comic that when a new strip is up, will talk about the strip from the perspective of writer and artist. Today I'm going to get some lines recorded for an animated short I'm in. I'll talk more about it the next entry. Post a comment in response: |
