    livejournal
I'm thinking of not renewing my livejournal account. Blurty might be a better choice, at least in the short term.

I have two main issues with livejournal. One is the paypal thing. I'm not entirely comfortable using paypal. I think it would be better in the long term if livejournal stopped using a third party payment system. Better security. Another is the um, how can I put this? I get a feeling of lack of organization at livejournal. It does not seem very professional. When we're talking money, professionalism becomes very important to me. Especally when it's my money. Livejournal does not charge very much, it's true, but it's the principle of the thing. If people are paying for a service you provide, you should have some sort of business plan or something. It's common sense.

Not that Blurty looks any better, as far as that goes, but they're not asking for my money yet. Therein lies the difference.
