New People Search Drama
So life has been free and easy ever since my boss made me his #1 man in the office. It's been so easy for me I almost feel bad about it - almost. Haha, I'm actually lovin' it, though I think some of my ex-coworkers aren't too happy. They totally thought my people search skills would be me fired, not promoted, and now they're hurting with all the extra work. One even took me aside to accuse me of advertising propaganda and getting the boss on my side. Totally not true, but I'll be the bad guy, if that's what it takes. What do I care? It's not my fault the boss picked me to start working on the company's new people search engines. I'm just the best at finding people and that's nothing to sneer at. Though I did feel like my coworkers were being a bit too buddy buddy with each other this morning. I think they all met up at the bar last night but...what did they talk about? Me? I hope not...
