    Writing, Family and People Search
Hello world. My name is Rob. I'm a writer (as I said in my "short bio"), and really happy to be alive these days. I'm currently living overseas, but I grew up in Washington DC, before moving to Los Angeles when I was twenty. I am single, have one dog, and five parents. The five parents thing is kind of fun. I was put up for adoption when I was two, and adopted by two of the nicest people on this planet. They raised me together until I was 11 - at which point they got a divorce. My adopted mom remarried and that's how I got Dav - my new (and technically 3rd) Dad. Two years ago I was helping my mom with her taxes because she was being audited, and we were going through all this paperwork when I stumbled across my adoption papers! Needless to say I was shocked. I then started on what I thought would be a full out quest to find my birth parents, but thanks to these people search engines online that look through billions of public records in like... thirty seconds, I actually found them both that night. This last year we all had Christmas together, and it was awesome. It's amazing how easy it is to find a person most of the time. I apparently also have a brother, but we have all been unable to find him yet since we don't know what his new adopted name ever became. Anyway... (probably because I'm a writer) I have all these day dreams about being somewhere weird... like in a bar, or on top of a mountain waiting to ski... and meeting him. What are the chances though right?

Okay. I started this blog to get through a little patch of writer's block, and I think I'm through now. Hurray! Back to work.
