    Current music:Plunger - Self-Titled 12"

    023;
    Camping was pretty fun. It was nice, temperature wise, everyday, but it rained a lot. We only went out on the Jet Ski twice. Other than that, I just read a lot. On the 4th we went into Traverse City, and I picked up Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, which is my new second favourite Murakami book, and After the Quake, which was also splendid. Much better than the other short story book of his that I've read. When I was done reading those, I re-read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. Anyway, that night, we went to Fife Lake for the fireworks, but they were cancelled on account of a light rain.

    The next day, we went into Traverse again, and I went to my sister's ex-boyfriend's friends' store, D&D Vinyl. It was awesome. I tiny, tiny little section of the store was completed, and they only had about 200 records, but what they had was awesome! Both Born Against LPs, every Godspeed You Black Emperor! LP/2XLP, the first two His Hero is Gone LPs, Jawbox 7"s, two original Jawbreaker LPs, et al. I ended up getting Born Against - Industrial Relations Department 7" and a Project X 7" bootleg. Great finds. That night we went back to Fife Lake and watched their shitty fireworks.

    The rest of the trip was spent reading. I read the two books I purchased in three days, and spent the rest reading my favourite. Other than that, we didn't do much. It was still fun, though. We got back in the middle of Saturday for my Grandma's 70th birthday. That was pretty fun...I met some people I'd never met before. Sunday my dad and I rode his motorcycle over to her house for a barbeque, which was also fun. I came back here Sunday night, and I'd only gotten one record while I was gone!!! But it's the Plunger LP, which is fucking amazing. Monday, mum wanted me to get a new printer, so I got a nice printer/scanner/copier for $100. Good deal...been messing with it ever since. Last night I made an awesome trade: my Anasarca 7", Calvary 7" and Pine "Days Slipping By" tour CD-R #/100 for Second Story Window - Self-Titled 7" and Union of Uranus - Self-Titled 2x7". Crazy good deal, for me. This weekend I'm doing something with my sister, and next Thursday her and I are going to the last Diaper show. Woo.
