[...not even close...]
I just got back from 6 weeks in England! It's so beautiful at this time of year. The leaves are changing and there's the smell of wood-burning fires in the air. It's gorgeous. It feels just like fall felt when I was a kid...We used to light fires in our fireplace back at the old house before the burn ban went up in Bellevue. Now you can only light composite logs in the city (the quick-light Duraflame type) and you can only have wood fires on certain days out in the burbs. *sigh* Anyway, England is gorgeous. It reminds of a poem by Blake...*sigh* :) Ok...so I'll post more about the particulars of my trip later.
Update on the wedding: We're in the process of choosing a church. I've e-mailed him pictures and websites and I'll be taking pix when I visit them this week to e-mail to him. The choices are down to three so it shouldn't be too hard. We should have the church picked within the next two weeks or so. After that I need to book a reception hall. I want to get married in the early afternoon so that at the reception (which I want to look out over the water) we can see the sunset. :)
So I have to luck up the time the sun sets on that particular day, as well as what venues on the waterfront are in our price-range for the reception. :) Awesome!
More later.
