ALAS!
And here it is, an update.
I have done a pretty good job lately of fighting off my polish-irish genes, and i am actually tan. I think this is the first time in quite some time where i have actually gotten a for real tan. I am no longer the most ghostly girl i kno! How have i done this you may ask. Well, i spent three weekends in a row up at my cottage. Alpena has like the most amazing sun or something, or perhaps its really just that when i am up there i actually spend time outside and in the sun. My weeks are filled with daycare shade and indoorness so i see no sun. When i am at my cottage, i frolic in the lake and sit out by the water talking with relatives who have popped by. I basically spend from sun up to well past sundown outside. Have i mentioned that i love to go up north to my cottage? It is my favorite place to be. I can get away, forget about the things i want to and think about things i need/enjoy to think about. I love it. I love to swim in the lake, i love to sit by the campfire. Its even better when i get to spend that time with the people i love. The first of the three visits to the cottage i spent mostly with my mom and brothers. I dont see them enough. Im away at school for 8 months, then i come home and its all about seeing the friends i rarely see (or ones that i see everyday when im home). I am hardly just chillin around at my house. Sooo it was great to spend time with them. The second weekend was marc's graduation party. It was WONDERFUL because i got to see all of my family from all over, including my cousins from texas who i really wish i could see a lot more. To top it all off, Sarah went up there with us and as i said before, i love to be there with loved ones :o) The third weekend i picked up G on the way and we had a relaxing weekend. It was extra wonderful because my parents actually let grant and i sleep together, which is an absolute no no around my house. Not only in the same room, but the room was the tent out in the yard away from everyone. It was good to spend quality time alone with grant. We need that and dont get it enough, it seems like everytime we have time to just talk goof around and bullshit, we fall more in love. Its those times alone together that make me feel like we could last forever. I cant imagine being without my G. If you have been hiding under a rock, we are officially back together and that breaking up thing didnt last long and hopefully wont ever happen again. Soooo to sum it up, i spent 3 weekends in a row outside and got a nice tan.
This weekend, i went out to kalamazoo with grant. I love kalamazoo. I love abby spicko, lol. It was good to see Matt again, the guys played some smash brothers, i beat Mario 6 Coins game on gameboy, had some milk shakes, it was a good night. I got to bed early which was also a plus. I got up in the morning and got my tire fixed then went out to South Haven and met up with abby brandon blain and bill. I had never been there but i loved it! its beautiful and the water was great, it was a really calm day and just a great time. The boys threw around a frisbee and abby and i held down the blankets and towels and caught up on a few things. I love her. I really wish that we hadnt had that I also wish that she would have just let me sign the papers even tho we were mad at eachother, cause now things are wonderful and it kinda sucks that i wont be living with her, and also that i still DONT KNOW WHO IM LIVING WITH, cmon WMU send me some info! Anyways, grant and i left the beach then went and visited with my cousins. It was dinner time so we went to OLGA's which i love so dearly and i had the fajita olga which i always get. We then did some shopping and i bought new sweatpants cause cmon im living in the dorms again and i dont have grey sweats and grant 2 necklaces cause josh broke the one i bought for him before, and i broke the one he had before i met him. Oops. Uhmm this is getting obnoxiously long, so we went to Brandon and Bills and watched Bruce Almighty then went to Roels and the guys played some INTENSE beer pong and then we went back to the B's and watched most of Troy but by then it was really late and we had to move our cars so we just went back to abbys to go to bed. her appartment is really cute and i liked it a lot. we woke up and had some dine-in wendy's then grant and i ran a few errands and then we were off for home, but we made a last minute decision to go north on 131 instead of south and decided to pick up west main and head back out to South Haven. It was great cause it was a completely different experience today than yesterday... it was WAVY. And when i say waves, im not effing around, these things were huge, biggest waves ive ever swam in. They were much larger and more forceful than the wavepool and never ended! We had to take a couple of breaks cause swimmin in waves for an hour at a time is quite exhausting. We didnt bring sunblock so im really a tomato.. i kinda fibbed about the tan, it was really great til today, now im just red, but hopefully in a few days ill be a beautifully bronzed gal.
Came back home after the beach, went on a romantic date with grant to Taco Bell.. dine-in aswell. Then we headed off to the MJR to catch Wedding Crashers at 10. Uhmmm... owen wilson is one of the sexiest men in the entire fucking world. It was a pretty good movie, a bit sappier than i had expected, but hey it was good and i was with my G so that was good and yeah, good times!
I feel that that was a sufficient update for now, tata.

Thurs- work 9:30-6
Friday- work 9:30-6
Saturday- go to the bank cause by then ill have 4 paychecks sittin at my house
sunday- VANS WARPED TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FALL OUT BY LOVE.
