    Grudge Match Part 3
    Title: Grudge Match
Authors: Blurty users PoeticDesire(me) and hi_liter_boy
    Rating: NC-17 for later parts
    Pairing: Harry/Draco

Draco was drifting high above the pitch. Dawn had just barely broken over the mountians that could be seen from Hogwarts. He was in his Quidditch robes, but also wore a heavy black cloak over his shoulder, his scarf was wrapped around his head, hiding his mouth from the cold. He was thankful that the Green and white cloth kept him from seeing his breath. He only faintly noticed the Red line coming out from the castle. It was Gryffindor's turn to practice on the field. What he was really searching for was a golden line. A streak.

The blonde's eyes drooped. He was so tired. How long had he been out here? Hours. He had hardly slept before he got out there to practice. Harry's words about his victory being a fluke had gotten to him. Draco Malfoy was the best Seeker in the school, Dammit. He had caught the snitch twice already, and was waiting to do it a third time. Waiting was so different when the whole school wasn't in the stands. Cheering for him. Or looking out for Bludgers. Worrying about Chaser's scoring points. They were just distractions. The Golden Snitch was the only important thing. Draco pulled higher into the sky, gazing down over the white field. Why couldn't all the snow fall before he had fallen?

The day after the match. The day after the meeting. The day after the challenge, given and accepted. The day after the raising of the stakes. The day after...the kiss. It had hit him halfway to the Gryffindor Common. HE had kissed DRACO. HE kissed Draco. He INITIATED the kiss. And not only that, it was his first kiss. His FIRST. And he gave it to DRACO. He'd dwelled on it all night. Why? WHY had he done it? He couldn't figure it out. He'd waved away his friends when he'd gotten in that night, and went right to bed. Now, early in the morning, he was leading his team to the Pitch for practice.

Draco's body ached for rest. He hurt all over. From the tips of his toes right to his finger nails, pain throbbed. His fall had been worse then even he had thought at first. But thats when he saw it, again. Draco dove, leaning forward on his broom. He was flying very well, better then he was even during the game the day before. He kept thinking about Harry, dressed in Slytherin colors. Vest and tie... Repeating the kiss. Oh that kiss. It had been so short. Why couldn't Scarhead have stuck around?
Draco lashed out a gloved hand, snatching up the snitch. Three times that morning. He could finally rest. Malfoy slowly lowered himself to the pitch, kneeling in the snow to put away that winged, golden Ball. Only then did he look at the Gryffindors coming out onto the field. He suddenly felt much more alone without his team.

Harry paused on the field when they saw who was there. And even HE could tell Draco looked ready to just keel over. He held out his hand to stop any of his team mates from doing anything. Noticing it was only Draco. "Malfoy."

He trudged through the snow, rubbing his eyes. "I'm leaving, Potter. It's your field."

Harry nodded and smirked a bit. "Getting some extra practice in? Doesn't matter...you'll still be wearing Gryffindor colors next week." He grinned.

"I told you I wouldn't look good in Red. So I don't expect to be wearing it." He grinned behind the scarf. "Want to repeat what you did yesterday, Potter?" He used one finger to call Harry over, the rest of the team giving Harry a strange look of puzzlement.

Harry stared at Draco in disbelief. He couldn't mean...? Even Draco wouldn't dare bring THAT up, in front of other people. He decided to try and play it off. "I haven't a clue what you're talking about, Malfoy."

Draco?s smirk was hidden behind the scarf, but it reached those piercing eyes, watching Harry. He was exhausted, barely realizing what he was really talking about. "Of course you don't. Good luck. You'll need it." He turned his back on the Gryffindor team, half limping and half stalking through the snow, back towards the castle. He had to use his broom like a cane.

Ron stepped up next to Harry. "He doesn't look his usual Prat-self, does he? Maybe that fall jumbled his brains too. What the heck was he doing out here alone this early?" He put special emphasis on 'this early'. Ron, probably the heaviest sleeper in Gryffindor, was not happy about getting up at dawn.

"He's obviously exhausted. Pain's probably killing him, leaving as early as he did from the hospital wing." Harry turned to Ron and grinned a bit at that emphasis. "We need to practice, Ron. Maybe you shouldn't have stayed up so late." He grinned a bit.

"Not all of us could get to sleep as quickly as you." The red-head smiled sleepily. "Speaking of pain killing someone, Can we hex Montague next time he elbows me in the ribs?"

Harry laughed. "I think you got him as good as he got you, Ron."

Harry's best friend walked back towards the rest of the team.

Draco limped his way back to the Slytherin common. He just managed to get his robes off before he collapsed onto His bed and fell asleep.

Harry walked over to the box which held the balls. "Ok guys. And girls. We're going to be practicing hard..I don't want to be wearing Slytherin colors and eating at the Slytherin table next week." He grinned a bit. Wondering if he meant those words. 'You would have done well in Slytherin.' He thought about that often. How close he came to being in Slytherin.

"We'll keep you at our table, 'arry." The large fifth year said, leaning his chin onto his Broom. It was a stance the Twin's had often took whenever Wood used to go on and on early in the morning.

He knew that stance. He'd done it a few times himself. He lobbed a handful of snow in Ron's direction with a smirk. "So, come on then. Let's get to it. Up in the air, everyone!"

The Gryffindor team took to the air. Chasers working on the passing game that had so vexed the more ball-hogging Slytherin team. The twins took turns clubing the Bludger's at eachother, in a more dangerous form of Catch.

He watched them get to work as soon as he'd released the balls. He hopped on his broom and flew up, half watching the team, half keeping an eye out for the snitch. "Start trying to score against Angelina!" He called to his Chasers. The Chaser line had been Alicia, Katie, and Angeline. Now with Wood gone, they were sans a Keeper, and Angelina had taken the job, and did a fair job. Pitting his Chasers against his Keeper gave both a workout, trying to pass and get through Angelina, and Angelina having to try and stop the Chasers.

After a few passes on the goals, Ron scored first on Angelina. She was much better then the Slytherin Keeper.

Harry nodded his approval as he watched, then saw a flash by Ron's head. He turned and zoomed towards his friend, seeming to be on a collision course. And Ron wasn't even looking his way yet. Though the whistling of the wind as he flew like a blur probably alerted the boy, and what the boy could see was the streak of red that was Harry flying right at him.

Ron turned his head towards the noise. His eyes widened, and he Dove forward, trying to get out of Harry's way before his head became close personal friends with Harry's Firebolt. The memory of Draco brushing by his head was still clear in his mind.

Harry's hand snapped out, right by Ron's ear. Those fingers closed over the golden, winged orb and he rose, grinning, clutching that Snitch in his hand and holding it up, calling out with a laugh, "Sorry, Ron!"

He still swatted at the air around him. "Why does that thing have to Follow around my Head?"

Harry couldn't help but laugh as Ron flailed those large hands around his head. "Careful or you'll fall."

?I wouldn't want to follow your and Draco's example." He laughed, holding his broom in one hand.

"Hey, I fell because of the Dementors."

The red head's mouth broke out in a teasing grin. "o'course you did, 'Arry."

He shot a glare at Ron. "You were there, you saw it."

"Harry, I was just Joking." He pulled his broom up alongside his best friend, staring at him. "I know what happened."

"It's not something to tease about. See you stay on your broom when you're hearing your parents' last moments before Voldemort killed them."

He frowned, Ron's face full of regret. He shouldn't have even brought it up. "Sorry Harry.."

Harry reached out and patted Ron on the shoulder. "Sorry...I've gotten really touchy, since yesterday. Guess I've been kicking myself too much over losing."

"We'll get'm back, Harry." He smiled softly.

"Yep." He grinned. "Ok, people, back to practice!"

Ron slapped Harry's back and dove back into Practice with the other Chasers.

He'd booked the field specially that morning. It was after a good two hours that he called everyone down. "Great job guys!" He grinned. Then lobbed a handful of snow at one of the twins who muttered 'Just as bad as Wood, I swear...' He grinned a bit, though. "Now, let's go get some breakfast."

?It's about time." Ron messaged his growling stomach as the team marched back up to the castle through the snow. "I'm starved."

Harry laughed and walked along with his team back to the castle and into the Great Hall.

Ron took his seat next to Harry, and started to pile his plate high with food. In the middle of a bite he murmurred. "Look over there. See the gap between the Bodyguards?" He grinned widely.

He sat next to Ron and looked over, noticing the absence of Malfoy. "Exhausted, probably. Wonder what he did all last night."

?From the look of him, he was practicing all night."

    ?And you call me bad."

Ron grinned widely. "At least he was decent enough to let his chasers sleep." He playfully elbowed Harry's shoulder.

He elbowed Ron back playfully, chuckling. "Yeah, well. Too bad?"

He smiled broadly, eatting the pile of breakfast on his plate.

He laughed and ate a bit, not too much, not being to hungry. "Ugh, I'm sweaty. Going to go shower and change. See you later, Ron, ok?"

He nodded his head quickly. "later Harry."

He smiled and stood, heading to Gryffindor and grabbing a change of clothes, before heading to the Prefect's Bath.

Ron finished up his food, pushing his plate away. He mumbled a good bye to the table and headed upstairs. He showered in the Gryffindor shared Showers, and then he went back to the dorm and went to get a few more hours of sleep.

Harry slid into the Prefect Bathroom and found it empty. Good, he wanted to relax in the tub. He turned on a few of his favorite taps and undressed, turning them off when the tub was filled and slipping into the water. He did a few slow laps before sitting on a seat built in to the side, much like a hot tub or jacuzzi.

Having slept since he got away from the field, Draco Malfoy woke up again. Draco rubbed his eyes and pulled on a sweater. The blonde left the Slytherin dorm, and walked through the halls. His hair was messy and matted to his head. Giving the password, Draco slipped into the Prefect Bathroom. As he stepped inside, he saw the back of Harry's head.

And that's all Draco saw. Well, except his neck and a bit of his shoulders. But for the rest, the bubbles covered him nicely. He relaxed. Not turning when he heard the door, since it was a multiple person bathroom. Even multiple prefects tended to use the tub at once, since it was so big. Though Draco tended to get it to himself, unless it was another Slytherin Prefect. And Slytherins tended to avoid it when he or some other house was in the tub.

Draco walked slowly up behind Harry. He slowly knelt, and tapped the slim boy on his shoulder.

Harry blinked a bit and sat up, turning to look at who'd tapped his shoulder. He blinked, definately taken by surprise when he saw it was Draco. What happened to just calling out his last name? He raised a brow curiously as he looked at the pale boy. "What is it, Malfoy?"

He still looked tired and in pain. At least they had the privacy of the Prefect only bathroom to themselves. He had hardly ever stayed in the tub with another prefect, even the Slytherin's. Who would want to be naked... underwater.. with (Ugh) Millicent? "I wanted to take a bath. But I can talk to you instead, Potter."

"Well...the tub's certainly big enough for the both of us, Malfoy. I guess I wouldn't mind too greatly if you got in." He tilted his head. Wondering what made it so they, practically mortal enemies, were nice to each other when they were in private. It had been almost a sudden change, since yesterday. He didn't know. And, he found, he almost didn't care.

He looked into the water, and then to Harry's face. Slowly He stripped down to his underwear. That slim, fit body clad only in Dark green boxers, bewitched to sparkle silver when he moved. He slowly slid into the water.

Harry looked away so Draco could remove his boxers. But then he heard Draco slip into the water, still in those silken boxers. "You're going to ruin those.."

He squirmed a little and pulled the boxers out of the water. They didn't even look wet. He tossed them with the rest of his clothes. "I wasn't going to give you a chance to see me Starkers, Potter."

"I WAS going to look away, Malfoy."

"Sure you were. Like how you wouldn't want to give me your first anything? Not your first kiss?"

    "Shut up, Malfoy."

The Slytherin leaned towards Harry, one hand reaching out slowly. "I.. thought about it a lot."

He looked over to Draco and blinked a bit. Looking towards that pale hand. "Oh really? I'm actually surprised you hadn't told the whole school by now. Though, quite honestly, after this morning, I didn't have any doubt that you had told the school."

?If I told the whole school, I wouldn't have a chance for another.." He stared at Harry, leaning far enough over in the water the his lips closed in on The Gryffindor Prefect's shoulder.

He blinked and turned his head, watching Draco lean in closer. "Malfoy...?"

A smirk spread across those pale lips. "Would you give me another if I let the whole school know you kissed me?"

"No, I wouldn't have. What makes you think I'd give you another now?"

"Because you're not moving away, and haven't told me to sod off yet." He smirked. The Pale boy scooted slowly closer to Harry, his face closing in on Potter's.

Harry swallowed. He wasn't moving. And he didn't want to. He licked his lips nervously, eyes locked on Draco's as he watched the other boy lean in ever closer.

A smug smile replaced the smirk. Pale hand coming from the water and cupping Harry's cheek. Draco gazed back into those Emerald color eyes, loosing his control. Loosing himself, at least for now. He leaned his head in, softly pressing his pale lips against Harry's mouth.

His head tilted a bit to press his lips more to Draco's. His hands rose to rest on those pale shoulders as he kissed back very gently.

When he felt his kiss being returned, Draco drew his body closer to Harry. Sitting beside him, shyly kissing those sweet lips. One pale hand against Harry's shoulder, and the other resting on the back of that messy black hair. He was holding Potter into the kiss.

He wasn't trying to pull away. His hands rested on those slim, pale shoulders. He continued to kiss Draco slowly, gently. Shyly. His hands softly rubbing those pale shoulders as he kissed the Slytherin. His rival.

Draco slowly turned his head away, licking his lips. "Potter..." It had been more then he could had hoped for. Harry didn't run away screaming.

Harry looked in the opposite direction when Draco turned away. His tongue rolled over his lips softly, nervously. "Malfoy.."

He turned his eyes back on Harry. And He leaned in, those pale lips kissing Harry Potter's earlobe.

He tilted his head into the kiss, a hand rising to cup Draco's cheek softly. He wanted to say....SOMETHING. But he didn't know what.

He softly sucked the earlobe between his lips, licking at it slowly. His hand caressing Harry's opposite cheek, making sure the boy wouldn't move away.

"Malfoy.." He shivered softly, fingers carressing over that jawline. "Does this...change things?" He couldn't help but wonder.

He only whispered. "It changes everything.. when we are alone. How much do you want it to change in front of Weasle and the rest?" He slowly nibbled on Harry's ear, grinning to himself.

Harry shivered a bit and drew away, looking at Draco. "I don't know. It'd be best to keep it secret...Malfoy..." He paused. "Draco...why are we doing this?"

"I think you know.." His hand slowly drew down against Harry's cheek, until His pale fingers only touched the chin of the other boy. "Because... There is love.. here."

He looked at the boy. His enemy. "We hate each other. We despise each other." He paused. Falling silent. His eyes turned to Draco, as if seeing the boy for the first time. "We.....love...each other...? But...how? Since when have you...loved....me?"

"Last night..?...Forever?" Draco shrugged those shoulders slowly. "As long as I've Hated you. Who cares?"

"I do. Ever since you've offered me your hand? Is that why, because in rejecting you, I rejected the love you were offering me? Without my knowing, of course." He tilted his head curiously.

    "You chose Weasley over me."

"Ron wasn't unspokenly offering his love. He's my best friend, nothing more."

Draco sat back against the wall of the tub. His gray eyes shifting away from Harry's face to look down into the bubbles that floated over the water. "Best friend and nothing more? There?s no love for a friend?"

"There's love. But not that kind of love. Not the love of a lover. But the love of a friend."

The blonde slid down into the water until his pointed chin touched the surface, and his slender shoulders and neck were hidden from view. "You turning away from me isn't...as important now. What's important is how you feel. Now, That you know."

He closed his eyes. Silent. He leaned his head back against the edge of the tub. "I don't know. One side of me...one side of me hates you with a passion. The other side...the other side of me takes that passion...and turns it into something more..."

His smirk crept up onto his pale face, and he turned his head to watch Harry. "More? More than your Hate?"

"Through all my hate for you I find that, for some reason that I can't entirely guess, I like you. I find myself wanting you."

Draco couldn't help but grin. The boy sat up, until his shoulders were free from the water once more. His hand reached across, turning Harry's chin to face him. Those moon colored eyes gazing deeply into Harry's thoughts. "Then be mine, Potter. Because I've Wanted you. More then Weasley ever will."

Those eyes opened as his head was turned. Staring into those silvered eyes of his hated enemy. Of his desired lover. "Malfoy..." He didn't quite know what to say.

Draco leaned his head down to Harry's. His pale lips brushing against his rivals. Against his obsession's lips. "Harry."

He kissed softly, shivering. "We need to keep it private, Draco..."

"You're ashamed." That cold gaze narrowed, the soft hand against Potter's cheek curling, and pressing finger tips into Harry's flesh.

"Do you want the whole school knowing we want each other? And it's not like I don't hate you still...it's just...all so confusing." He sighed.

"I want Weasley to know you are mine."

"No." He said firmly. "You'll just rub it in."

"Why would he care? You said it yourself that you are only friends." He was teasing Harry, but not for fun. Draco planted a kiss on the cheek that lacked a hand.

Harry sighed in exasperation. "You're acting as if I'm some sort of property to show off."

?I've been hiding behind Hate for five years! I find out that you might return my True feelings. I don't want to hide it, Harry. Not anymore..."

"You've been hiding behind it, Malfoy. I've been FEELING it! How am I supposed to just shove it all aside when I'm not even used to the war of emotions going on inside me?"

"Don't get used to it. I want you, Potter and you want me. I want you." He said it again. Draco was used to getting what he wanted, when he wanted it.

"You're going to have to wait for me, then. Because I'm not ready to make it public."

Draco looked away from those Green eyes, and looking back into the water. He didn't seem angry, as much as... disappointed.

"I'm sorry. I am. But I'm not ready. I'm not."

"It's fine... But I won't wait forever." He looked back to Harry, a weary smile on his lips. "Not forever."

"I wouldn't keep it hidden all my life. I just..need to feel out the waters, so to speak. Five years of hate...hard to push aside, you know? And Ron's my best mate, like a brother...I want to die whenever we get in fights and ignore each other.."

"Feel out the waters?" Malfoy grinned, his hand slipping under the bubbles of the tub and touching Harry's stomach. Those pale fingers slowly tracing the muscle that had been built after hours and hours of training. "Don't you think he'd be madder for it being hidden from him?" He wasn't trying to Prod Harry anymore, just asking a question.

Harry shivered a little and shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe."

Draco very slowly stroked Harry's submerged chest and stomach. His soft hand finally able to touch the body that had made him act so stupid the day before.

Harry smiled softly at the gentle touches. He turned his body a bit, his own hands moving to rub Draco's chest and stomach softly, leaning in and kissing the blonde Slytherin again tenderly.

The Slytherin Prefect returned the kiss, carefully letting his tongue snake out from his warm mouth and lick over Harry's lips. His hands felt all over the torso that had driven him to act so shy. His own pale body arching under Potter's touch.

He sucked that tongue in softly, licking over it with his own as he kissed his fellow prefect. His arms moved to wrap around Draco, holding the boy closely.

Draco leaned over the smaller Gryffindor. His tongue explored that warm hole that sucked him inside. His front pressed against Harry's, and his eyes closed.

His body arched gently to Draco's, their chests rubbing lightly. He shivered as the boy's tongue explored his mouth, sucking upon that tongue, licking over it with his own.

His tongue twisted around Harry's, swallowing a moan that he felt building up. He swallowed the taste of Harry's mouth. That sweet tongue. Draco had himself firmly pressed against Harry's body, and his hands moving to cup either side of the other Prefect's face.

His hands rubbed Draco's back, one moving to cup the back of the blonde's head. He continued to kiss deeply, passionately, shivering as that tongue explored him so deeply through the kiss.

The tongue slowly drew out of that warm mouth, and Draco broke the kiss. He smiled, sticking close and against Harry. "That is what our first kiss should have been."

"Mmm...yeah, you're right." He grinned softly and hugged Draco, kissing his cheek.

Pressed firmly against Harry, Draco's hands slowly rubbed up, over Harry's ears and into that messy mat of black hair. The blonde grinned.

He blushed and grinned softly. "In public...nothing changes...alright?"

He nodded his head softly, turning Harry to face away from him. Draco slowly licked the earlobe he had sucked minutes before. "As long as in private and in your head, you know. Don't kid yourself about this, Potter."

Harry nodded softly. "I know. Trust me, Malfoy...I know. If I didn't, this, right now, what we've done, would show me it's real."

He smiled smugly. "Then say it out loud.." The thumb of the pale hand On Harry's cheek moved slowly over those lips.

"It's real. There's not just hate I feel for you, or you for me. Together, alone, our feelings come out. Love."

He smiled, genuinely happy. The thumb tapped the lips as they spoke Harry's last word. Love. Draco softly repeated it in Harry's ear, his drawling voice rolling off his tongue. "Love. Harry."

Harry closed his eyes and shivered as Draco drawled the word, and his name, into his ear. "Love, Draco. Love...for you. I hate you. But behind it all, I love you. I love you."

"And I love you, Harry." Malfoy softly kissed Harry's ear.

Harry smiled and kissed over Draco's jaw, before slowly pulling away. "I'd better go now. Ron's probably wondering where I am, and might send Hermione to see if I'm still here."

The blonde nodded. "Wouldn't want anyone to know.." He let one hand slowly slip down Harry's next and across his chest when the boy moved away from him.

"That, and it's not like the way we want them to find out is Hermione walking in on us." He caught Draco's hand and kissed it softly, before getting out of the tub and wrapping a towel around himself before Draco could get much of a look.

?Harry.." He watched the other boy, reaching out and gently touching Potter's foot.

He looked down to Draco. "Yeah, Draco?"

He half smiled, clutching Harry's ankle. "Let me see. Let me see you."

Harry blushed brightly. "Can I see you, then?"

He shrugged his pale shoulders, grinning. "Maybe."

"Won't settle for a maybe." Harry grinned a bit and stepped away to gather his clothes.

"Come back here and let me see, Harry!"

"You going to let me see, then?"

    "After I do."

"Promise?" He grinned a bit, shyly.

"Would you take my word, even if I gave it?" Draco Malfoy smirked at Harry. He point to the ground right beside the tub, next to him. "Come here and leave the towel."

"Draco...I...I'm not sure I'm ready to go...to go as far as sex, ok? But I'll show you.."

"I want to see you close." He smiled slyly, turning around in the tub and kneeling on the seat. His Pale chest glistening with water.

Harry blushed and very shyly dropped the towel. Body slim, nicely built. Hairless. He moved over to the tub, standing on the spot Draco indicated. "Happy?"

He grew silent. His hands very slowly wrapping around the back of Harry's calves. Those eyes soaking in every inch of Harry's nude body. "more than you could know..."

Harry blushed brightly as Draco hugged his smooth, slim legs. He stepped out of those arms and moved back shyly. "Your turn."

He pouted when Harry moved away. His arms stretching out for a lingering touch. He almost ignored what Harry said. "You said you weren't ready for sex... what about going it alone, Harry?"

"Draco....no.." He blushed bright red. "Come on...stand up, let me see you?"

He watched Harry blush. "Why not?"

"I'm not comfortable with it all yet." Harry sighed and turned away, heading back to his clothes.

    "Wait, Harry."

Harry paused, turning to look at Draco.

He had stood up, in the spot Harry had been only a few seconds earlier. Water was still streaming down over the pale skin that covered his body. Smooth and almost feminine. Draco's body was finely toned, down to each muscle. Bubbles still clung to him, and it was hard to tell which was whiter. The suds or his skin.

Harry blushed and smiled softly, tossing Draco a towel. "Thanks, Draco. You're beautiful." And he started to get dressed.

He wrapped the towel around his thin waist, and walked over to Harry. He kissed the other boy's cheek, his arm sliding around Potter's shoulders. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

"At least you didn't keep pushing. Thanks for that." He snuggled to Draco a bit and then finished dressing. He cupped Draco's chin in his hands after, kissing those lips softly. He smiled and moved away then, heading for the door and stopping, looking over his shoulder at Draco. "Oh, and Malfoy...see you on the Pitch." He grinned and walked out.

Draco grinned widely, looking down at the mermaid statue in the bathroom. His tongue licked over his lips. "He loves me." He chuckled to himself, before dropping the towel and slipping back into the tub. He would soak his body some more. Hopefully it would help the aches of his body before the next practice. Draco was feeling so good, he didn't take the time to realize that one ache in his chest was already gone.
