I don't belong here, but what a beautiful letdown...
Campus Cry was tonight. It was like a church service where we just prayed for our campus and for God to really move on it, and wow. I mean WOW. You could absolutely feel it in the air, God was there. I have never felt anything like that before, it was incredible. The speaker we had was just so powerful, and she was talking about how we needed to be revolutionaries, and how because we are here, and we believe, we can claim the enemy's terrority and our campus for God's kingdom. She also talked about something I had never heard before, about how we are holy. Not holy as in we are better than other people, or that we are blameless, but that Jesus died for us BECAUSE we are sinners, and that we are holy because He now lives in us. It was just amazing. We were singing at the end, and just letting it all go, "laying our crowns at the feet of Jesus," and dancing to the point where I was sweating. We said the Lord's Prayer together at the end, all holding hands, and just shouting it for everyone to hear. I have never experienced worship like that before. I don't even know what to think, or say, because it was truly something you had to experience. I was in a daze when I left.
Switchfoot was also last night, and it was SO good. They put on such a great live show, it's incredible. Sadly, they didn't play my favorite song, "Let That Be Enough," but that's ok. I was way happy that they played "Only Hope" from "A Walk to Remember" because I love that song, and yay! They were so awesome, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and go to one of their concerts. Their music and their message is just so fantastic, I love it.
Ok, so there is my rather intense entry for tonight. Bye guys, love you....
